I'm hyped! I guess you have to be a Halo fan to appreciate it.
@welshy I saw issues with the game when I watched the live stream, but when I watched an upload version of it, those issues were not there like the pop ins. It was more of an issue with the stream because it was laggy. The game is not finished so any tech issues like low LoD will be fixed once the final game releases. I'm not going to fully judge the game how it looks until I see it playing in my hands.
The xbox show was good, but could've been much better. I felt the same way for the Sony conference as well. I really didn't think one was better than the other. Only thing Sony really had over this was the console reveal, which we already knew what the Series X looked liked.
I'm sorry but what is sony working on that looks so much better and puts them farther ahead? Both showed games that are far off without a release date. Both held back games for later date reveals.
I never expected to see the absolute best Series X has to offer from a launch cross-gen title and anyone expecting more was going to be disappointed. What I saw looked great and I'll be playing it day one.

The game looks great. It's going to have some issues because it's not the final build. Go watch the uploaded version and it looks way better. I saw a lot of games made for Series X and PC only from 1st party and 3rd.
Obsidian is going to be one of the premiere studios for Xbox next gen.
Xbox has already said they want to give State of decay the AAA treatment so even though the trailer didn't show anything, it's expected at this point.

Love it! Had to watch it again because the live stream didn't do it justice. Gives me old Halo vibes, but new feel as well. The new weapons look great and gameplay looks really solid. 343i already mentioned that equipment like grappling hook and shield are pickups in multiplayer so that is great news.
They're called Indie devs now.
Limbo, Trials Evolution, Bastion, shadow Complex, and Castle Crashers, were my favorite indie games last gen.
