i dont see many casuals playing that acid trip (the original one - i did not play any of the others). The risk was in the presentation.
i accept that the gameplay was not all that intense so .... okay i guess
Yeah, an intelligent article for once. The cost of HD gaming is causing PS3/X360 developers to stick to safe formulae. I dont have much hope for a katamari or okami-type risk anytime soon.
PSN/XBL might encourage some new risks as developers dont have to worry about padding up to the $60 price tag. Looking forward to the team ico release to show something different.
i don't mind a developer making a casual game or 2 if it keeps their doors open. Quality will always b...
Thanks freak of nature. It sounds good. Can't wait.
with a bit more depth/variety in gameplay the first one could have been one of the best games ever released. The story + environment kept me playing though the monotony.
Lets hope they dont rush this one out for the xmas release again. It paid off for them last time though.
I'm no nintendo fan (so correct me if i'm wrong) but isnt the company practically built around him?
And BTW most ppl want what u tell them they should want - he has the right idea
Google "religion" if u dont believe me
no - idiots in the media make me a better killer by wearing out my patience + giving me resolve
live in hope and die amused
He has no comment? Is the sky falling?
Finally he has learned to shut up!
I like his games but he doesn't do them any service with some of his comments
Sony has always stressed that they see DD + disks co-existing to give people the option to build game libraries.
Does this guy know the meaning of "considering"??
eg. I'm considering a petition for better quality control for news stories on this site
I think a umd-less psp will exist as an option to the existing UMD based PSP.
EDIT: is it just me or did sony not mention anything about buying a code to download the game?
Are we allo...
Amazon has a gold box video games event today. Check it out cause one of the games SEEMS to be fallout3 (based on clues they give).
And BTW any technology that can spare me the usual PC & console expenses (Certain HDDs and wifi add-ons that i won't name come to mind) is welcome
the closest anyone ever came to a nintendo handheld before sony was the sega game gear - 11 million units. (launched in 1990!)
noone else has crossed 3 million!
PSP has not been a hardware failure
Hasn't lit up the world in terms of software sales yet though
Usual tabloid journalism of the gaming world - sad thing is that it seems to be getting the desired result - attention
Recently amazon sold a 1TB SATA for $80 :)
These HDD prices for the 360 confuse me considering the whole digital distribution mantra of MS.
Okay - thanks for the correction - I'll check it out
in terms of how many people ripped off its cover system gears certainly has had the biggest impact for this generation thus far.
Still early days pertaining to the influence of LPB but i love it + highly recommend it.
U can also check Tom Petty - It's good to be King
There isn't a good you tube version that i can link you to though
piracy sells consoles too
A lot of ppl with RROD could not send their hacked consoles back for that reason + had to fix it themselves or replace it.
Hence, even the failure rate of 30% may be low
leave it to sony to reverse a trend that was against gamers. DLC was really starting to become exploitation to the point that i was being mocked by some PC gamers who normally get stuff like this FREE.
Are we paying attention MS?
Please resist the urge to steal this one people.
Its from an independent developer & its worth it.
hip hop gamer might be a tabloid clone.
SEGA has a long LONG history of making terrible business decisions.
Its no surprise anymore to ANY long-time fan.
Rockstar took a risk - no harm in that once they actually LEARN SOMETHING
