i hereby dub thee "sir trollalot"
@patterson
I'm not trying to pick a fight with you so please don't take what i say the wrong way.
However, according to anthropologists, people will always look for a way to separate themselves as a means of forging an identity.
Its a very interesting field of study and gives u great insights into human behaviour.
EDIT : sorry i did not see ur comment below
Agreed - the last thing the world needs is more anger. Its not like we don't know muslims disapprove of using an image of muhammed. Don't alienate all of them based on the actions of a few.
people will always find something completely inane + pointless to fight over
eg - console wars
But i'd like to see it go too
been hoping for powerstone a long time now - the psp version sucks
sorry - comment got mixed up - ignore
no worries. Its not the end of the world. I just get pissed at what standards are accepted in gaming for journalism. I don't think it does the industry any favors.
Bubble up for being mature
An article that makes broad insulting generalizations against a group of people is many things ....but not priceless. Entertaining maybe. Depends on ur tastes.
Opinions of an anonymous author aren't worth anything.
Maybe the author should grow a pair
Powerstone would be a nice addition too.
Not the same on the psp
No. The real lesson is that i should be playing games instead of reading crap like this.
He is comparing formats to a piece of hardware.
He is mocking a company for rewarding the loyalty of its customers and standing behind its product.
I can still buy games for my launch ps2 while i don't even know where my xbox is.
If this is what sony bashing has come to then ps3 owners have nothing to worry about
i'm tempted to buy this based on the quality of the interview alone
Murray? - guess not
grim fandango was also an excellent game in the genre
when DLC appears within 2 months of the release of the game i can't help but feel ripped off if i have to pay for it.
And not all games are overpriced at $60. Development costs of HD gaming are really high. Compare some of these games to the average WII game in terms of development costs and retail pricing.
(and no, that is not meant to be yet another shot at nintendo - they probably made one of the best decisions for themselves in staying away from hd - but they did...
Good point. And this is Miyamoto we're talking about. He was the first person to point out that casual games are harder to make as it is more difficult to keep the gamers' interest. I hope u are right.
.
i would love to be a fly on the wall at a square enix strategy meeting.
If such a thing exists.
yeah good to see some ps3 love.
Not bad numbers by 360 either.
Competition = quality
We benefit from it
Miyamoto has already expressed the Zelda series' need to become more accessible to a broader group of players, stating that "lot of people who bought the Wii are not necessarily the types of people who are interested in playing that kind of game."

not too good news but lets hope they change their minds
Dear Mr Sunshine,
If ever i have the urge to be ordered around, i'll join the military and at least get paid for it.
Until then, i'll use my "god-given" intellect to decide sense from non-sense.
If u have found joy in religion then i am happy for you. I have found happiness away from it. Like most parents, i think that that is what god wants more than anything. Stop selling him short by projecting your own insecurities.
