The demo for this game is actually going to hurt it. Kinda like the first pacific rift demo. Gameplay vids makes it look a lot more interesting.
well, the go did gain bluetooth, save state function and internal memory and is much more portable. If i did not already have a 2000 i would buy one.
Retailers ofter make marginal profits on hardware and instead make money on software sold. Given that the go is digital only, retailers may well be asking for a bigger slice of the hardware pie.
i would love a legitimate pdf or office viewer for the psp. I think they should putting some work on apps that add value to the psp.

yeah, sony has some in development. i think you also need 1080p/i resolution and a hdmi connection

For sony,i think the lack of variety in software thus far is a turnoff. Eg Platformers (which seem to be migrating to the psp).
i think sony spent a bit too much of their resources on shooters for the ps3. THe usual software suspects have been slow to turn up.
MS also has a long-standing reliability issue.
The WII was overpriced at launch. Price never slowed it down. Software quality is taking it back a peg though.
But we're sooooooo good at it.
It would seem a shame to stop now and lose all those EXP points we've gathered.

Piracy sold the other playstation consoles more than anything i think. If you are going to undertake piracy of games then $100 makes a bigger impact than if u plan to buy legitimate software
PS3 is doing very well if u compare it to other systems where piracy was not possible. Variety in software is more important IMO. ...

I think the iphone success has everyone a bit nervous about being left behind in the new digital era, but those games are in a completely different price range.
Iphone success will not necessarily translate across the board.
i am not looking forward to losing a 500 gigs of games WHEN my HDD crashes.

giving consumers alternatives is good.
Personally i'm not interested in all-in-one devices cause of battery life issues.
But everyone has their own preference
not everyone wants to walk around with 2 or 3 different devices

True, you have a point there. that is why competition is important. Can u imagine what these companies would be up to if they did not have any competition?
Even if i dont own a console i am glad to see it do well. Cause it means i get better content as a result of competition (in theory at least)
But there are a lot of alternative to getting media anyway.

Companies have the right to price their product according to their valuation of it.
We have the right to ignore them. i love killzone 2 but i'm not going to pay for maps that are put out within 2 months. That's just me, everyone values things differently.
Except for burnout paradise and a few other exceptions i stay away from DLC cause in my opinion lot of it is also a rip-off and if we indulge it will never change. I've been spoilt by P...
