Zelda TP wii better than NCG ?
It's the same version graphics wise, Nintendo said that a million times.
Most of those also support the BRD. Universal is the only big movies studio to support HD-DVD only.
Good luck with the crappy download speed.
And good luck storing HD movies on a 20GB (sorry, i mean 13) hard drive.
That was a mistake by some stupid public relations guy during a conference and they corrected it a few hours later.
Not what i'd call a true announcement from developpers.
Same goes for SC on the 360. But that was ubisoft that said it was running in 1080p, and then retracted it a few days later.
Now for Lost Planet... native 1080p ? Really ? Dude what a scoop you have, MS himself isn't aware of that !
Excellent firmware support, that's good news.
RR7, launch game, 1080p native. Same for NBA 2k7
Where are the native 1080p on the 360 by the way ? BS, they can only upscale !
SC -> 1080i
Sonic -> 1080i
Blue Dragon -> very suspicious. 720p on the core and 1080p on the premium ? lol, why that ? since when a hard drive has something with true HD lolz. You're qui easilly eating MS's bullshit. Or wait, maybe the core version has less GPU bandwith !
Oh and, RFoM is 89% average.

Somewhere between PS2/xbox and PS3/xbox360 ?
I'm still waiting or a wii game that would beat the crap out of latest xbox/PS2 games. Hell, take COD3, it looks exactly the same on Wii and PS2 lol.
The most "impressive" game for now, technically speaking, is Zelda TP. And it's identical on the gamecube, and not even on par with games like Fable or MGS3.
"At a Blu-ray event at the CES, Mike Dunn, president worldwide of News Corporation's Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, said he believed Blu-ray would outsell HD DVD.
By the end of the first quarter of 2007, he projected Blu-ray sales to be three to four times higher than HD's.
"By the end of the first quarter, the format war is over," he said, noting Sony's recently released PlayStation 3 game console with a Blu-ray drive had boosted sale...
PS3 users DO buy BR movies, seems like it's 6 movies per PS3 owner.
The BR player doesn't cost them 200 or 300. It's 120$ or so.
And even if blu-ray loses, it still can be used for games. THe HD-DVD player for the 360 can't be used for games. And if they go blu-ray too in the end, they still won't be able to use it for games.
So movie fans have a 360 and they buy the HD-DVD add-on.... huh
And they couldn't just buy a ps3 ? I mean, ya know, the blu-ray has the biggest support from studios, then more movies are available.
I wonder why movie fans would buy the hardware that plays the less movies :)
It's just another way of saying "the shipments on launch day won't allow retail sales"
Just like it happened with the Wii in Europe.
They've admitted that a few days ago. MS gives "sold in" numbers. That means, sold to the retailers. Not the consumer.
So there, it's not a price cut, it's just some japanese shops. And only for the 20GB.
:)
The price cut on the 20GB version is because nobody wants it and buys the 60GB version ?
So the PS3 is actually selling, but just the 60GB version on no one wants the 60GB one. If the PS3 wasn't selling PERIOD, the price cut would be on both versions i guess...
Who cares about this stuff ? i was speaking about computers, automobile, and TV. that's what was stated to be american inventions in the article. You sound like you want to play "mine is bigger tha yours" by listing all those inventions.
So right, the guys from intel invented the first microprocessor.
So ? Does a microprocessor only makes a computer ? hell no.
What would be the use of it if some guys before didn't invent all the bases ?

"multi would ruin the story"
Lamest excuse EVER. How would a multiplayer mode ruin the single player mode. Makes no sense.
So what's happening guys. Some PS3 games have a "restricted" multi mode and you lol and run around in circles screaming "lol ps3 sux ass", and then bioshock doesn't but "ho, we don't care, that's completely logical !" ?
Multiplayer is a whole different experience to a game. and adds to it...

"Vista buyers won't be able to enjoy the experience in full without a strong graphic card. A model with 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM is the minimum, Vanessa Weihbrecht reports. 128 MB is preferable."
yeah, ok right. XP sucked all the system RAM, now vista will suck the system RAM AND the GPU RAM.
Fine guys, you can keep your power sink, i'll stick with my good old 2k

"Sony dismissed the claims saying it has no control over the licensing of Blu-ray, and has no problem with the adult industry using the format. "There's no prohibition against adult content," Lisa Gephardt, a spokeswoman for Sony Corp. of America, said. "We don't tell people how they can use the licenses they get from the Blu-ray Disc Association."
Indeed, the BDA, which handles all licensing for Blu-ray technology, said in a statement that the group is &q...
