The game is amazing. I personally do not feel the 83 metacritic score accurately reflects this game's quality at all. It's a 9/10 for sure.
15-25 is what I say.
Its just you.
Yeah thats what generational transitions are all about. Always have been. But suddenly you're a villain if you move forward. SMDH.
The wording is dumb. No one is being "forced" into next gen. You come at your own free will. Stupid propaganda.
@timotim
Then why are you on here crying about it not being on Xbox then? You say you're "still waiting" on that Xbox version but you already own it on PC? That makes you sound even more like a pathetic fanboy. WTF difference does it make to you if it comes to Xbox. You already own the game on PC.
Agreed!
Oh f_ck off! If you want to play the game, buy a PlayStation you infant!
"real time" is a very broad term. It's still just a cinematic, running at 24fps. Let's see what actual gameplay running at 30fps with enemy AI looks like. I still say the Unreal 5 demo was more impressive simply because that was a real time demo that was actually being played.
Death Stranding is not a 1st party Sony game and it was announced for PC long ago. Horizon so far is the only 1st party game to come to PC and it's 3 years old. Those who are shouting that Sony will bring all their 1st party games day and date on PC are jumping to conclusions. Sony will still exhaust console sales of any of their 1st party titles before they think about bringing them to PC. Unlike MS, it's still important to Sony to sell hardware. Bringing Horizon to PC is a strat...
I see its going to be another slow news day. SMDH.
Do you really want THIS game though? Is there anything to do in it besides take off and land? Unless you are just hardcore into aviation I don't see the appeal. If this were an aerial combat game I'd be all about about it.
I would describe it was a paint drying simulator. Looks beautiful but I've played these before. I'm bored with them after an hour.
My point is if a game can run on my phone, it means not a lot was invested in developing that game in terms of scale, scope, or production value. Theyre made on the cheap and then sold at premium prices. And just stop with making excuses regarding the Switch's power. The system is running games like Witcher 3 and Skyrim. The system is more than capable. Nintendo just refuses to reinvest in making bigger, more ambitious games. They want to have their cake and eat it too. They want ...
I explained my issue with Luigi's Mansion 3 in my previous post. Its colorful and pretty to look at, but from a design and mechanic perspective its not that different from the other ones. I want Nintendo to be more ambitious with their IP. I want them to take some chances. Think about the leap from Super Mario Bros 3 to Mario 64. Think about the leap from Super Metroid to Metroid Prime. Where is THAT Nintendo? Why don't they approach their game development with that level of amb...
It's because not since the release of Super Smash Bros Ultimate has Nintendo released anything that remotely resembles a big budget AAA game with high production value. Everything now just looks like more colorful upres'd 3DS games or mobile games and Nintendo keeps charging full price for them. Animal Crossing for as popular as it is, could run on my phone. Luigi's Mansion 3 looks pretty and colorful, but it was developed on that same old 2d plane that the other games were. N...
LOL losing load screen instructions in favor of zero load times? I'll gladly take that tradeoff!
I "expect" to be disappointed but I will be delighted if they overachieve.
Where is "Sky: Children of Spirits"? I keep hoping that game will get announced for PS4/PS5. For those who don't know, it's by That Game Company (makers of Journey) and was released on mobile last year. The game is an absolute work of art and I would love to see it come to PlayStation!
They don't have to match Sony's quantity of quality 1:1 but they have to do better and I think they will. Christ I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with that backlog if the quantity of high quality Xbox and PlayStation games were at 1:1 parity!
