@Tiqila
Nobody "likes" cables. But there's a difference between what we like and what we are willing to accept. I would like for it to be wireless but reducing it down to a single cable is acceptable to me. Plus, let's be reasonable. We all knew that PSVR2 was going to draw at least part of its power from the PS5. How do you propose it does that wireless? This will also help keep cost down. Oculus Quest 2 is 400.00. PSVR 2 could possibly be much mor...
Smaller, less bulky design would be nice.
Higher resolution lenses/minimize "screen door". (confirmed).
Better FOV (would love 180 degrees but probably will be 100-120).
Internal head tracking (confirmed)
Eye tracking would be great. (rumored)
Fewer/no cords (confirmed to using only 1 cord)
Better controllers (confirmed)
Plus I hope it incorporates a ...
They literally "phoned" it in with this one.
That's what I was thinking. This game has that "pop" that I was looking for from Halo Infinite.
@The GreatGazoo30
That makes sense. MS has been "backending" their Xbox fanbase for years now.
"Prior to the success of the Switch there was the real possibility of Nintendo IP going to other platforms in some capacity."
There is ZERO evidence to support that claim brewin. You are pulling that completely out of your ass.
.
It's not about being stubborn, it's about doing what makes good business sense. Putting Game Pass on Switch does not benefit Nintendo whatsoever. They stand to make way more money on the sales of 3rd party games directly on Switch than they would if those same games were being played through Game Pass on Switch. The only way Nintendo would agree to this is if MS would be willing to significantly increase the revenue sharing, which will never happen because if they did that, there w...
Lol I know. I swear the arrogance of some of these Xbox fans kills me. Thinking that some how Nintendo "needs" Gamepass on their hardware. Nintendo will not allow Gamepass on Switch for the same reason Sony won't. Revenue sharing. Both Sony and Nintendo stand to make more money off the sales of third party games on their platform than they would if those same games are being played on their platform through Game Pass. Unless MS agrees to a substantial percentage increase of...
Lmao Octopath Traveler is a 3 year old 16-bit looking JRPG that nobody but a small niche group gives a crap about. Stop acting like it's some monumental get.
I dont know. Going from 30fps > 60fps is pretty big. That alone makes me glad that I waited to play this.
Shadowfall was designed to be a graphical showpiece for the PS4 at launch and it was very successful in doing so. In fact, graphically it still holds up extremely well even today. Plus on PS5 it runs at a rock solid 60fps. The game itself is okay but it doesn't hold up compared to other fps games like Titanfall 2, Wolfenstein, Metro: Exodus, Borderlands 3, Battlefield 1, Destiny 2, etc.
In all honestly, I wasn't looking to be "blown away." I was just looking for a better experience and so far my PS5 has given me that in spades. Playing Ghost of Tsushima at 4K/60fps with nearly zero loading alone has made having the PS5 worth it to me. Playing Spider Man and Miles Morales at 60fps with ray tracing was a wonderful experience on PS5. Playing Days Gone and God of War at 4K/60fps has been a fantastic experience! I've yet to play anything on my PS5 at anyth...
@darthv72
Agreed. And have more nuanced characters this time. The old, over the-top, F word every 3rd word jar head military guys and the stereotypical "twist the mustache" villains just do not cut it anymore in 2021.
Actually what I would like is a complete reboot. I think this franchise would be a great candidate for a reboot. Considering how far Guerilla Games has come in terms of story telling and character development, I would love to see them take what they have learned from developing Horizon Zero Dawn and apply that to a new version of Killzone for the new generation based on the engine they are using for Horizon Forbidden West.
LOL this writeup wont age well.
The only scenario where I.could see Gamepass coming to PlayStation would be in the form of streaming through xCloud. I can't see Xbox studios working on native PS5 versions of their titles for PlayStation owners to download.
Why not Insomniac? You know, the studio who made the first one? :)
The game is phenomenal. More so running on PS5. It's my favorite game of last generation. I still cannot believe it's only an 83 on Metacritic. It should be much higher than that IMO.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!
