LOL the delay was no surprise whatsoever. Back when they first teased this and it said 2021 I said to myself "oh yeah, that's getting delayed."
Nintendo - I would invest heavily in 1st party expansion. The gaps in between their major 1st party releases are far too wide and often, even before COVID. I would also completely overhaul their online infrastructure. I would eliminate the ridiculous friend code concept and simply let gamer's send and receive friend requests the way MS and Sony does it. I would also partner with Discord to get voice chat on the hardware without the use of a phone app.

Regardless, it's pointless to try and call Sony out for saying "we believe in generations" when CLEARLY they are demonstrating it by releasing actual next gen exclusives. Trying to use that quote against them at this point is asinine and makes YOU (not you literally) look stupid.

They've shown that they believe in generations a hell of a lot more than MS has.
They'd better show a lot more than that. I haven't played my Switch in ages. I want to see Switch Pro, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Breath of the Wild 2, and I want to see some nice surprises like maybe a new Star Fox or Punch Out! Also I'd love to see a next gen version of Kirby Planet Robobot or new Pikmin.

I'm more interested in how large of a difference in performance it will have than what it will be called. I also couldn't care less about the larger OLED screen or the thinner bezel. My Switch went into the dock on the day I got it and it's pretty much stayed there ever since. I just want something that will quasi stay relevant enough, performance wise, that 3rd party developers will bother to port their newer games over to it.
Unless the update includes HUD removal, I'm not interesteded! Christ, I feel like I'm looking at a spreadsheet when I play this game.

Agreed. I don't want this forced co-op/multiplayer crap. Put it in as an additional mode? Yes. But to build the entire game around that completely loses focus of what Days Gone is to begin with.

Especially considering we just got Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate, about to get all the Sonic stuff, and we already get all the Yakuza stuff. So weird this game is being kept away from US PlayStation gamers. Is MS money-hatting Sega to keep this exclusive or something?
