IMO the biggest, most obvious difference is going from Fidelity to Performance with no ray tracing. Once you see ray traced reflections and then suddenly those are taken away, it's pretty jarring. The Performance + RT is kind of the best of both worlds.

"If only the PS5 was capable of using the AMD FidelityFX or DLSS"
PS5 is absolutely capable of using AMD FidelityFX and it WILL use it once it becomes available. AMD has already confirmed this. DLSS is Nvidia, therefore PS5 and XSX will not be using it.
@PrimeVinister,
That's strange because literally no one else is talking about this. Pretty much every media outlet and YouTuber who's reviewed the game has said Performance + RT mode is the way to go. I've watched countless videos of the game running in performance RT and I didn't really notice the scaling like you're describing. You must be hypersensitive to it. What kind of TV are you gaming on? I have a 65" LG OLED and it already does a fant...
Exactly what I was thinking. Who TF is playing Ratchet and Clank for story? LOL. Does anyone play Mario games because they're so caught up in Mario and Peach's relationship?
Is it any different than Miles Morales? Because I had to practically squint to see any difference between it and regular performance mode. As for fidelity mode, it may be sharper but I cannot go back to 30fps! I'll gladly trade some visual fidelity for better framerate. Hopefully once console games start implementing AMD's Fidelity FX this will become even less of an issue.
Yeah, Performance + RT is THE mode! I honestly don't even know why Insomniac fools with regular performance mode. There's literally no advantage to it over performance + RT.
Oh I know. I buy cage-free/anti-biotic free too. The title just cracked me up because that was the first thing I thought of when I read it.
Ha! What do you call a crunch-free environment? A creamy environment? "This game was made in a chewy environment."
LOL, now I'm wondering if this is going to start being printed on the boxes. Kind of the way chicken at the grocery store has "cage-free" on the packaging.
Oh well. Can't please everybody I guess.
Oh look, another triumph/game of the year contender for PlayStation! Well...throw it on the pile with all the others I guess LOL!
@Hermit
Dont get your knickers in a twist. I simply asked a question. I see no reason for Sega not to make PSO 2 available on PlayStation in the U.S. And why does Sony have to provide Sega an "incentive" to localize it? Is making your game available to be bought by 40 million additional gamers not enough of an incentive? Why should Sony have to "sweeten the pot" for a game like this in the first place? If MS is money hatting this game to keep it ex...
Especially considering we just got Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate, about to get all the Sonic stuff, and we already get all the Yakuza stuff. So weird this game is being kept away from US PlayStation gamers. Is MS money-hatting Sega to keep this exclusive or something?
Is this ever coming to Playstation in the U.S. ?
One mediocre POS for another LOL.
Damn. This will be the best birthday for me ever! FF7 Intergrade, Ratchet and Clank, and now Jedi Fallen Order! Happy birthday to me!
LOL the delay was no surprise whatsoever. Back when they first teased this and it said 2021 I said to myself "oh yeah, that's getting delayed."
Nintendo - I would invest heavily in 1st party expansion. The gaps in between their major 1st party releases are far too wide and often, even before COVID. I would also completely overhaul their online infrastructure. I would eliminate the ridiculous friend code concept and simply let gamer's send and receive friend requests the way MS and Sony does it. I would also partner with Discord to get voice chat on the hardware without the use of a phone app.
Since when has gaming EVER been about practicality? lmao
@MazeRunner
I agree. I have the game and I enjoy it but I think having no save system in 2021 is a bad design choice.
