There's a 60fps mode if you are playing on PS5.
I was just going to say, it's was the perfect design if you were a toddler maybe.
I know a lot of people love to look back on Gamecube with fondness but as someone who owned all 3 consoles, it was by far the least played in my house. I spent way more time on PS2 and Xbox than I did on Gamecube.
Agreed.
I'm with you. I'm playing it too and I think the game is solid but this "10/10 instant GOTY contender" narrative is crazy. I'm just not seeing in this what sites like IGN and Gamespot are seeing in it. Maybe it's because it's been a relatively soft year in terms of instant classics, as I believe in any other year this would just be another solid FPS.
For my money, I still think Returnal is the best game I've played this year but we'...
I champion the creators to make whatever TF they want without the meddling, sniveling SJW twidiots, thinking anybody cares about what they think.
Supply/demand can influence price but what influences price the most is competition. The more manufacturers that make M2 Drives, the more competitively priced they will be. This is why I am so glad that Sony went with off the shelf M2 tech instead of proprietary.
Phil Spencer - "Were not looking just to make the green version of whatever blue or red game is out there."
LMAO who's "uncomfortable" with the scores? I'm glad it's getting high praise. People have been griping "well what good games does PS5 have this fall" and this one looks to be a very good one. I'll certainly be enjoying it along with Kena and Death Stranding DC (I never played the original).
@Teflon02
If that's true then why even announce Wolverine and SM2 at all at this point? In fact, the more I think about it, the more I believe this event was totally unnecessary. I think Sony would've been better off just riding out the remainder of 2021, release Deathloop, Kena, and Death Stranding DC and then come back in 2022 with an all new event.
For me, it wasn't about showing MORE. I just found it strange that they showcased two more Insomniac games that surely are much further away from release than what some of Sony's other developers are working on. Where was Factions? Where was Guerilla's 2nd team project? Surely that's not further away than Wolverine and SM2. Where was Sony Bend's next game? What about Pixelopus' next project? It's the order in which Sony is unveiling things to us that I find ...
Factions for sure. I would've almost bet money that would've been at the showcase. Also, whatever Guerilla's 2nd team is working on. I thought that might be there as well. I thought we might see more of Kena Bridge of Spirits along with more Little Devil Inside along with a release date for it.
I can't think of another game where the scores are in so much opposition to the impressions that I got from the trailers. Absolutely nothing about this game is interesting to me. At least not based on the way it was presented to us in the trailers. I may have to reconsider my interest in this. I'm still not buying that this a 10/10 game but it might be fun.

Project Awakening
I was thinking the same thing. Except GT7 will have ray tracing and dynamic weather. GTS already looked fantastic.
I was expecting a bigger next gen bump in the graphics department. However this looks exactly like 2018 God of War. It looks like DLC honestly. Where is the next gen sizzle? Even Horizon Forbidden West looked more impressive than this and it's cross-gen as well. I'm sure the game will be fun and a GOTY contender and all that but it didn't wow me like I was expecting it to.
No they're not. The article was well written and the author's opinion was well supported with examples. I agree with the writer and I'm as PlayStation blue as they come. The show was just okay. Yes, KOTOR, Wolverine, and Spider-Man 2 were nice surprises but beyond that, the show was meh. Too much reliance on 3rd party games and that might've been ok if those games were impressive but they weren't.
I agree with the author. I would say the show was solid, but unspectacular. And lopsided is a good way to describe it. Way too much time was spent on 3rd party titles. Most of which frankly didn't look all that impressive. WHERE THE HELL IS NEXT GEN???? Everything looks so underwhelmingly mid! Even Ragnarok, as much as I'm looking forward to playing it, I was a little disappointed in the graphics department with it. Visually it looks no different from the last gen game. I exp...
