DLSS4FG on RTX40s & RTX30s will make 'em really good value in the resale market.
But will prevent numerous 4080 and 4090 users from upgrading, tho.

OG 2007 Crysis (not the remastered weirdo), is & will forever be a legend amongst the PC community.

Whoa ... all these? Is the Xbox + Switch 2 partnership really true?
Starfield on Switch 2 ~ that'd be something. Anast here, won't be happy, tho.

Yea but most will be these 'idiots' you mention, by the time the launch comes.
The hype is tremendous and given the re-play factor and content R* been offering in their games, many will pony up the extra cash. The logic? Instead of buying two new games for 120~140 these holidays, they're buying 1 GTAVI and end up saving few bucks even. "It'll be worth it"(echoing in the thoughts).
Yea, for you and me, might seem unreasonable but for normal populace?...

"BMW game director who was a very sore loser"
Not a sore loser ... he just expressed his slight disappointment after not winning GOTY, that's it ... like any other human being who have worked hard for something. Most keep to themselves, but he happened to express it in an interview but to his bad luck, got mistranslated from his native language/dialect.
Remember that BMW's studio, Game Science was a mobile game developer, not even proper indie-studio and th...

yea, well the thought here is Nvidia is considerate in this console market re-entry and wants a slice of the AMD profit ... but Nvidia not being greedy is also not totally plausible.

a pinch of salt, always ... but Nintendo is on Nvidia wagon and Xbox is planning handheld as well, so a sliver of chance, they might go the green route.
Also, Xbox needs all the slight gain they can get .... and with PS6 SoC design complete with AMD, an alternate route makes sense for them to get the edge they can get.

They can come up with a transitional layer for BC.
Xbox can get slack for multitude of reasons, but their BC division is commendable.
Similar to Ubisoft, rest of Ubi can be questionable but their tech division is pretty good.

**It's the same games in every article with a similar title.**
Because it's the same year? The games that got launched is a constant fact for everyone. And if the game was universally disappointing, then obviously everyone would echo the same thing.
Do you want for originality some writer would write up that instead of Concord and Outlaws, Silent Hills 2 was the most disappointing game, right? Coz, that'd be considered a click-bait article th...

You need some multiplayer titles as well ... not unlike olden days ... but just not so many of 'em that you lose the quality over quantity.
And plus, experimental smaller projects to keep things interesting.

The Horizon live-service game is on the ... err horizon as well it seems, don't think that's getting cancelled.
Honestly if one modern Sony live-service game that I wish wasn't cancelled, that'd be the "Spider-Man: The Great Web". The leaked trailer looked cool and imho, it had potential. The timing was just not on its side.
With Avengers and Gotham Knights fumbling and Suicide Squad also not garnering much positivity at the time, Sony pulled the p...

She didn't "suddenly become unemployed"
She got another offer. It's in the article above. Read the article. (and if she lied, it's not that hard to track such veteran game developer's career path and she knows that)
Most prominent ex-Bioware devs have left anyway and have gone on to form Archetype Entertainment, where they are currenlty making ME trilogy's spiritual successor, Exodus, which I am very much looking forwa...

"Usually the way it works is that the product turns out amazing, the individual is valued and the current company makes the effort/offer to retain that individual."
And she's been valued hence she was there for 18 years ... but now she got a better offer and EA couldn't counter offer, hence she moved on.
Welcome to corporate world.
And there's also a thing called fatigue and moving on and trying something new.
Its not always the case ...

You gotta be effing kidding me with that logic.

She completed the project, shipped it as a product and then got a better offer from where she'll be moving to now.
A norm in software industry. Why do people always have to spin it the negative way?

Buy a Remaster now to get a Remake later after only which a modern sequel of the IP can be planned.
And if all the ^steps are performed, then voila! An older IP reboot or a rare chance of a new IP can be achieved.
