Hell yea!
We had to wait 14 years for Sigma on PC and 12 years for Sigma II and 8 years for 3.
One of the main reason I support modern Remakes and Remasters is coz of the subsequent or simultaneous PC version release (non-Nintendo).
This is more Gothic Quake I than Doom1 or doom'16
...
Can't they just reboot Quake with this same art style but abit grittier & with a new Gothic storyline ~all while being run on idtech 8
They said in the video @3:10, they approached with 3 different styles for the 3 different modern Doom games. (well if you count Doom 3, then that's 4 different styles).
They said, Run n Gun, Jump n Shoot, and this time Stand n Fight (for Doom3 I include: Panic n Shoot)
And this time, there are sliders, of which one slider even lets you alter the whole speed of the game.
ngl, I like this format compared to Direct and SoP. (not comparing big showcases or E3-esques)
This is more focused, at the same time a bit casual + you get to see the people behind the projects and their emotions.
Granted dev videos do exist on per studio's channels but very few people actually notice those.
This on the other hand is short n sweet, per segment and gets promoted by 1st party, so the reach is much more.
Same.
Compared to the initial build vs the new build they've been showing since December?
The combat feels more connected compared to past RPG-ACs.
Naoe in particular looks much better in terms of parkour and swift movement (what I expect from a Ninja assassin)
And from previews? The shadow mechanic, season and weather having much more impact (like ponds which can be exploited in summer, will freeze in winter), exploration is less tedious and much more rewarding etc e...
ngl, looks abit better
We're getting Onimusha before those
Khazan is also pretty good
Bioware's Economy Game Designer (Harel Eilam) is now assisting in the development of the Battlefield franchise as Narrative Designer - as part of Electronic Arts' Rotational Experience Program.
Cant wait
Max Payne 1 is 24 years old and will be 26 be the time Remake releases
Yea, this is one Remake I am wayy too excited about.
Max Payne, Mafia 1, RE2, Splinter Cell etc, ~ these are perfect remake candidates unlike newer games like Horizon Zero Dawn or TLOU or Black Flag or Oblivion.
Instead, Hope somebody remakes Deus Ex 1 or Bloodlines 1 or Syphon Filter.
well, hope so ...
Same here .... why cancel Twisted Metal and Spider Man but keep others?
I would even prefer a Motorstorm or SOCOM live service game ... over a God of War LS.
Well much of that GG Horizon GaaS has been leaked actually :
https://twistedvoxel.com/ho...
Dont know if there was more .... but would love to see the now cancelled NCSoft's version as well.
Ghost of Yotei and Wolverine would be the 2 big releases within 1.5 years. And maybe Intergalactic?
And hopefully, Marathon doesn't get cancelled and whatever Housemarque's up to, releases within the 2 years window.
And there's Fairgame$ and GG's Fortnite-esque Horizon co-op game as well (found about it just now, apparently it was leaked as well, 2 years back).
Wait, there is/was two different Horizon live-service projects?
"It’s important to note that this game is not to be confused with a separate online multiplayer version of Horizon, confirmed to be in development at series creator Guerrilla. That game, as far as we understand, still very much remains in production for now."
I though GG was working on Horizon 3 and the live-service was being handled by NCSoft?
edit: The comment ...
I am not much of a supporter of leaks,
But seeing these projects getting cancelled, and with so many people spent time working on these AAA projects, I do hope atleast some of the alpha/beta gameplay clips gets shared/leaked, so atleast we get to know what we may have missed/avoided.
Again, not much of a supporter of leaks, but we did get to see a finished gameplay promotional trailer of the Spider-Man: The Great Web live-service game. And imho, after seeing the trailer, tha...
Coz its a Remake not a Remaster,
All the reworked assets take up extra space nowadays.
