Do a trilogy before going for another setting? (Santa Monica soft-denied a trilogy but nobody was expecting a mythology shift at the time)
Abandon the Series S already and make the next-gen 1 console SKU only i.e 1 Xbox Prime variant. So that no devs have to compromise their games for yet another weaker hardware. Just keep it simple, PS6 and Xbox Prime.
And keep the Xbox portable optional or part of Xbox Series gen/SKU whatever. Dont push that handheld onto next-gen only development.

I'd delve more into the legacy of the studio, since this is a PS-centric site afterall and anything no-PS is written off, without much thought. (They are well revered within the PC RPG fan base {some of the PC folks here might agree}, but 'gold-standard' might be a stretch ... but the studio's legendary in its own rights)

Ha ha ... wasn't expecting a freaking Ninja Gaiden shadow drop and NG4 for late 2025.
Horizon and Motorsport are different series of Forza and different genres.
PS would benefit from a new non-sim racer and hence Horizon 5 will fair better. PS players prefer GT more anyway in sim category and the new Motorsport will have hard time competing here (but a sidenote ... Forza do pump out Motorsport more frequent than GT, since they have a bigger team)
And imho, the last Forza Horizon is better than the latest Motorsport, so this decision makes more sense. And dare...
