As for RE6, whilst I am not a fan of it, but if they end up remaking RE5, then 6 stays as the only sore spot in the mainline RE series.
So they can take extra time and totally reimagine RE6 for a later release. Reimagine in sense, more than RE2 or 4 Remakes. Something akin to FF7.
That way the whole series then becomes nearly perfect, that no publisher/developer can claim or achieve.
This better not be the de-facto Remaster of RE5. I.e no Remakes. RE6 I can understand but for RE5? It was pretty good and can benefit from a Remake. And any faults, like boulder smash, can be rectified in the Remake. That's the main advantage of the Remake route. You get to fix the faults, to make the game better.
I'd rather they take their sweet time and Remake it later. Nobody's losing their sleep on not having to play RE5 properly on current gen consoles in 2025.
The Greece prequel should be a current-gen only one-off.
After which the GoW team should focus on continuing after Ragnarok.
(I am more interested in Barlog's sci fi project anyways from Santa Monica.)
Anyways, GoW got me thinking, 'Heavenly Sword'. The PS3 God of War-esque. A sequel was planned but later scrapped. Now that companies are sorta collaborating a bit more. Higher ups can decide on reviving the IP. Sony has the license, Ninja Theory needs wor...
wait... what happened to the Egyptian saga, that was reported a week ago?
Can you describe it, then?
The format, the combat, the visual tone ... whatever?
Where'd he get the fresh pair of drumsticks from .... again?
Marvel/Fox IP sales money seemed too juicy to ignore.
Hence Insomniac's compelled to churn out Marvel content till 2031 (as per leak atleast).

"i have not seen any game that could not run on the S because of its specs"
That's the thing Darth.
Since 2019, the devs knew the specs of the current gen. They knew that in order for their games to run on wide variety of platforms, they had to keep the 4TF Series S' specs in mind and had to accordingly design their games in order to maximize sales. Couple that with the sudden pandemic plus cross-gen dragging on, the design stayed somewha...
But I dont want the handheld SKU to share with Xbox Prime, a la Series S with X.
Dont want another weak hardware dragging the next generation. Series X is pretty powerful but the Series S hardware limited its prowess. The 'sliders' theory didn't pan out well, so for a tablet that'd even be worse. Another generation spanning the likes of 4TF to 16TF would be dumb.
Let the handheld be part of Series x|s family, so that if devs require a next-gen game design cen...
Monolith has their proprietary Engine : Litchtech. Latest version: Firebird.
The versions prior to Firebird were all available for 3rd party licensing since the 90s and were quiet popular. Notable games/series using Litchtech: Blood 2, AVP 2, NOLF, F.E.A.R, Matrix Online, Crossfire, Mordor etc...
Only studio at WB not using UE (atleast not converted yet)
God Of War 3? Gears of War 3(doubt)?
If the former, then fixed camera angle?
And how'd you get chance to play test?
Hope the WW reboot's a move towards right direction and came after lessons learned from Suicide Squad's failure.
I have respect for Monolith since the 90s. Don't want them to eff up as well.
Nothing is safe.
Not even Phil Spencer.
lol
re:verse wasn't that bad but umbrella corps had wayy different vibes than other REs. (Played both once)
surprised umbrella corps' still up. maybe players still treat it as aggressive 3rd person CoD with zombies and its still working? movement speed was pretty fast.
This is an N4G submission?
You mixed MP games as live-service with SP games as live-service, bub.
People hate when SP games are turned into GaaS model, not MP games into GaaS.
"devs are afraid to release a traditional style multiplayer game that isn't a live service" ~ coz that model doesn't work anymore and is inconvenient for the devs. If you look macroscopically, the earlier map pack/expansion pack/updates are what been replaced by steady stream of dev updates/patches via live-ser...
Not converting Jawbreakers into F2P was the final nail in the CliffyB coffin.
Ex-Kojima vs New-Kojima game(s) showdown circa 2025.
Yea and there was/is a PC version of 1886 too in 2016 ... but now maybe collecting dust in some dev's hardrive.
