Last FarCry I sorta got hyped for was 4 (FC2 is still goat, followed by FC3)
FC5 felt too bloated and FC6 felt like Just Cause in first person with a pet crocodile

Look MS has been losing since Xbox One fiasco, Series X didn't improve much, no 'safe bet' can help them against Sony, it'd be the steady decline then as well, coz gamers in that category wants just more powerful traditional consoles i.e close-eco mini-PCs. Very few innovations can tilt support there way. Some features can, but enough. they have lots of ground to cover. It'll be an even more uphill battle.

Dont know what's gonna happen with Max Payne 3 (hope R* atleast Remasters it) but I'd prefer if Remedy continues the Max Payne series. I'd even play a Mona Sax spin-off (MP2 fans will know) ....

Only Respawn at EA uses UE, (coming from Source engine which still powers Apex), others still use Frostbite. Next BF will be on Frostbite, Dragon Age Veilguard was on Frostbite, Dead Space Remake was on Frostbite, NFS is still on Frostbite etc, etc.
Other devs who also abandoned their own good engines are eidos,crystal dynamics, IOI and slowly likely square enix as well.

Well for one, dont want Marathon to fail, even though I was wishing under Sony, Bungie'd make singleplayer campaign again after Destiny, ... I nearly even fell off my chair when they announced Marathon, (huge fan OG series' immersive lore) but got immediately disappointed when they later clarified it'd be extraction shooter. But still hoping that Bungie'll pack in little bits of the lore in the new one.

Most of these likely to be handled by new studios than the legacy ones coz they're handling new IPs
