I hope 3D games have the option to work on the other DS systems without 3D. If they don't then they're forcing those who already have a DS to purchase a 3DS if they want to play that particular game.
edit: @callahan09, yeah that's what I thought and that's what I'm not too keen on TBH because it means that I'd have to buy a 3DS to play those games. A none 3D version alongside it would be nice but I know that's wishful thinking.
That would be cool but from Nintendo's show we know that 3D and touch screens don't work together so if the PSP2 has 3D it won't have touch and vice versa. Unless ofcourse it comes with two screens which is not likely.
Graphics equal to PSP is an overstatement but they do look great on the DS. I'm considering upgrading to a 3DS but I think I'll wait since nearly all games will work fine on my DS lite.
It was really good and the games they showed were excellent. I was really surprised at just how good Epic Mickey looks.
One problem I had though was with the more powerful graphics for the 3DS. I wonder if games making use of that will be playable on other DS systems and whether the 3D games will also be playable on other DS systems.
Just been watching this and the motion controls don't seem very responsive. He started saying he was getting interference as well.
Anyone know if this is likely to have an option to play normally without motion controls?
A BluRay player is capable of playing DVDs so I don't see how it would alienate DVD9 users.
Seems like it since it uses new proprietary drives.
I agree it was a bit slow. The feature that lets you slice in whatever direction you want just seems to slow down the gameplay even further.
If you want MGS5 get Peace Walker. It's a great game with more content than you could slice with Raiden's sword.
I like the idea of having your own starship in this game but only if theres more to it than just allowing you to move from planet to planet.
Some customisation would be nice along with being able to upgrade it with features you can actually make use of while questing.
That's the plan. It'd be really bad if they went back on their word now.
Even if it was real I would still not be too keen on it since the game would be doing the accelerating and braking as the guy did not move his feet at all.
Yeh I quite like it too but as someone pointed out before it does look a lot like a PC case.
Building Kinect into it isn't a good idea since many people stick their consoles in cabinets.
At least you get more for your money though but what I want to know is whether it's more reliable.

While I agree with Atatakai I think MS has done a good job with Windows 7.
Windows isn't an easy thing to put together. All software engineers know it's impossible to create bug free software and Windows has a hard time because it has to work with all the hardware out there as well as those that are produced in future. Apple doesn't have this problem since Mac OS only has to be compatible with Mac hardware.
While you can't really say Sony copied WiiMote since they've apparently had this tech for the best part of a decade I do agree they're both going for the casual crowd. The difference between the two is that one has proven itself to work well in both casual and hardcore games whereas the other hasn't managed that yet.
I really hope MS have a good show today. Live demos are an absolute must now IMO but at the same time I don't want to see lots of casual games which is what I'm expecting. I want a good mix of both.
If it's announced I hope it releases sometime at the end of this year just like the GoW Collection.
