I hope MS's conference today is good. I want to see new games but I'm expecting lots of Kinect stuff.
Not very Assassin like but I'm guessing you'll be able to disarm one and use it against them.
I thought most devs outsourced CGI stuff to other companies. Didn't Bioware get another company to do the CG trailer for The Old Republic?
I don't remember having any issues with KZ2. The games controls were designed to be slower than other shooters which means that it wasn't just the controls that were designed that way but also the way the maps and AI were designed.
Did feel a little unusual at first but nothing I couldn't adjust to just as I had to adjust to so many different games I played in the past 15 years.
The issue of lag is one where if there is a large amount of lag it ma...
If devs implement it the way I think Lionhead will for Fable 3 the lag may not be too much of an issue. Using it to enhance some of the interaction in games like Fable is the best way to use the tech for hardcore gamers. The chances of having a hardcore game where the majority of the game is played using Natal is very low IMO.
Another example would be Mass Effect. While the core gameplay would require a controller, things like hacking could use Kinect which would add a new la...
Agreed. That's what's so great about LBP and MNR. They're some of the few games that actually manage to appeal to most people.
With the way games tends to get priced in the different regions if it's £29.99 here it'll likely be $39.99 in the US.
I agree with your minimum and maximum amounts.
As a show it was probably pretty good and entertaining after all they had Cirque du Soleil but it's just not what the gamers were expecting and turned out to be disappointing.
It also sounds like the one that doesn't require anything but a Hi-Fi. Looking forward to tomorrow. MS is usually good at getting people excited even over small stuff.
Just some kid who probably saw it on N4G and thought he'd like to be the first on youtube with it.
Funny that he says "Don't be sparking any rumors" lol.
It doesn't look very slim to me. Looks about the same shape but hard to tell the size. If it's real I think it's a redesigned 360.
By shape I mean the overall size of each side is quite similar to the existing model. Looks nice though.
Actually, if there is a new console coming out MS will make sure that it's Natal compatible but I doubt they'll reveal the 720. Maybe a redesigned 360.
So is this game actually that hard to beat on your own? I was kind of looking forward to beating it myself.
You could pick up Serious Sam 2 (should be dirt cheap now) which was released the other year but it wasn't as much fun as the first two games for some reason.
UT2004 was awsome. I'd like them to start using health packs again. Regenerating shields are OK but I've never been that keen on regenerating health.
I think it's supposed to take you to that site which will update during MS's conference. That's probably when it'll have new info about the redesigned version if true.
Brainless yes but you can't deny the fun that can be had in those games. It's nice to have the option of playing a game like that once in a while just as I like to watch a brainless action flick every now and again.
edit: @ Mista T, that's a fair statement but TBH I kind of like the design choice they made to make it play like that. It makes a nice change to all the fast paced shooters around which is shame since I don't have a 360 lol. The first game was grea...
I think most console gamers have only played UT3 which is a shame really and I think Unreal 3 is well overdue. I'd love for them to work on that.
I guess time will tell. I'm going to wait a month or two and see what the user reviews are like.
My most memorable demos would be C&C, Red Alert and GTA.
