Wasn't the company that won the rights to rumble tech working on new rumble tech? What happened to that? I remember reading something about it using 2 or 3 motors each moving in different directions to give enhanced rumble feedback.
The could somehow have a connection between Steam and PSN allowing you to use your PSN ID. Having multiple logins is an issue and I'm guessing they've probably already given it some thought.
You're right he did say it'd be the best console version meaning the best version will be the PC one.
There is only a slight improvement at the moment but the maps are much bigger than before so it is quite impressive technically.
You're late. Many people have predicted that already.
If you wana play it in HD just buy the old PC version (dirt cheap now) as it'll run on just about any computer now and you can use your 360 controller too. You can even play it on your HDTV but the downside is that you won't get any trophies or achievements.
Sounds like you get bored easily. All games have repetitive gameplay but it's the ones that keep it from getting boring that are the the most fun. Infamous did get boring from time to time so I agree with that and most games tend not to hit the ceiling when it comes to potential which is where sequals come in to improve on what the original had done. All in all though I think it was a really good game and really liked the twist at the end.
It's just one of those things that comes down to preference. I think of inverted as allowing you to tilt the camera like you do on a tripod where you move the handle up to make the camera look down. Still, I prefer normal and always have while my cousin has always played with inverted.
I remember quite a few people using it with FPS games on PC though I don't see that much anymore and I agree it does work best when flying but even then I tend to stick with normal Y-axis.
I think it'll do well with casuals. That dance game whatever it's called is likely to be a hit with casual gamers who love that kind of game which BTW seems to be very well put together.
Steam on PS3 will likely offer the same services it does on PC but with just PS3 games. Doubt there'll be a seperate friends list though.
Don't forget, it's also a PC game.
So that's how it is. Thanks for correcting me.
Apparently Sony had those years ago with the early PS2 controllers but the American market wasn't keen on them and were changed. Well that's what my friend tells me.
edit: Anyway I don't really have an issue with them but would love to see some sort of modular controller where you can remove and change the parts to make the controller just the way you want it.
I think it was one of EA's devs that came up with MLAA for the PS3. I don't know what happened but it seems Sony might have bought it off them. Either way, it would be nice to see third party devs using it too.
Sorry but 7.5 isn't bad at all.
If I had a 360 I may not buy it day one but I'd definitely buy it used. If the multiplayer is fun then I'd probably buy it earlier to play with friends.
Awsome. I've been wating a hi-res version of this image for a while now.
Exactly.
It doesn't really matter if it doesn't get lots of 8s and 9s. If you played the demo and enjoyed it then get the game and ultimately enjoy it.
If it's a real simulator then the way the cars drive isn't going to change or at least it shouldn't IMO. The McLaren F1 still drives the same today as it did when it rolled out of the factory (as far as I'm aware).
If they were to improve the model they use in which they input the car's data then there may be a difference but to have a driving sim which changes the way the cars drive from version to version can't be a very good sim can it?
If people keep going on about PS+ being better value I think MS will just add more features to try and justify the cost of Live. I doubt they'll ever make it free.
The problem with JC2 map is there's lots of space where there's nothing to do. Compare that to a map like that in WoW which is much smaller but has absolutely crap loads of quests to get through. Bigger maps are impressive but not so much when lots of that map space isn't used much.
