This looks really great. Only thing missing would be health packs.
@ Neo Tribe, I get the feeling you didn't learn to play the game but instead were expecting the game to play the way you're used to playing.
Adapting is the way forward in a game like this and it does reward you. Graphics may be below average but it still manages to create an amazing atmosphere due to the sound design.
Give it another shot and take your time. Running around in the dark is bound to get you into trouble. The first few times you fell int...
I think that's a little harsh though I understand where you're coming from.
I wouldn't say they've failed as story tellers due to the end of the trilogy even though it was a huge let down. I think they're still very capable story tellers and hopefully will have learned from the last game in the series.
I do really like this controller. Prototypes had me a little worried but I think it looks great and is ergonomic while still keeping the iconic overall shape.
The only thing I'm not too keen on are the new analogue sticks since I preferred the old design though it's not like I won't get used to it.
That does make sense. I'm sure us grown ups would also appreciate having a console that didn't damage as easily as modern smart phones.
Yeh, it's absolutely amazing.
Dishonoured is a fairly similar to Thief. What got me interested in it first was the similarity to Thief because I've been wanting a good stealth game for a while. It's been a while since I played Thief 3 so I'm really looking forward to this game.
If it's true they're rushing to get it out before the PS4 which could prove to be bad.
I don't want them rushing out the Xbox only to end up with a poorly built machine. When people buy a console they don't want to be having to replace it soon after.
Just as I move to London Eurogamer Expo might move north?
Crazy.
I do think it's likely to be free. I'm just hoping that turns out to be true as I can't shake this weird feeling that it Sony might do something daft.
Nice. DoA5 I haven't played so I'm glad it's coming free. Also, Joe Danger 2 should be fun too.
I'm really looking forward to E3 as they'll no doubt announce improvements for PS Plus. Well, that's what I'm hoping for and hope that cross game chat is free for all instead of just Plus subscribers.
I haven't had much interest in this game but from your review it seems to be pretty good. My brother will be happy though as he's had his eyes on this game lately.
The next gen as with this gen, PCs will not be held back for a few years and then once the console's bottleneck is hit developers will start giving PCs the same textures and graphical effects again.
UK game retailers have no one but themselves for their bad performance and they're just looking for anything to keep themselves afloat.
I really didn't like GAME crying about Steam and think they need to step their game up if they expect to be around for the long term.
Agreed with spinalc0rd about PC + PS4.
For next gen I'm wanting to get a Nextbox but considering MS's shift onto casual games I'm going to have to wait and see how well they support their platform with games for gamers.
If it's good support I'll get one if not then I'll be more than happy with my PC + PS4 combo as PC and PS3 have worked out well for me this gen.
Definitely a good looking controller. A lot of us were judging it on the pictures of the protoype controller but the actual thing looks much nicer.
I'm already putting money aside for this.
I'm usually reluctant to purchase at launch but with the number of games they already have in the pipeline I don't think I need to worry about having games to play on the PS4.
I liked it over all. I thought the Braid guy was pretty good as a speaker but agree that a lot of them weren't great.
There did seem to be a fair bit of disconnect between the audience and the speakers but that's likely down to a lot of non-gaming press being there as someone above pointed out.
One thing is for sure though. No one will be saying the PS4 doesn't have any games at launch.
At first I was surprised and excited to see what Blizzard was going to show but then I was disappointed as soon as I heard the music just before the image popped up.
If I had thought back to all the articles we got about Blizzard testing out D3 with a controller then It wouldn't have taken much for me to guess they'd show D3 and something new and amazing.
A game with a female lead?
A cover with a female on it?
Which crazy publisher would support such a thing?
