Removing those useless cars most people never touch should help speed up the process. Do we really need three different varients of the same car?
I like that they try to have a complete collection of cars but does anyone really buy GT games so they can drive a Volkswagon Golf?
lol pretty funny
Even as a serious PC gamer I don't need to constantly keep upgrading. I haven't bought an upgrade in over 3 years and the only game giving me trouble is Battlefield 3 mainly due to it being a CPU heavy game. It just means I have to play on 32 players maps if I want to continue playing at 1080p.
The next time I upgrade will be next year which will last me well into the next console generation.
While it's true some gamers frequently buy upgrades but...
Yay for us lol.
We haven't had Just Cause 2 here yet. I'm guessing the pool of games is same for each region but the games put up are decided by SCEE and SCEA indipendently.
'Do fanboys just make up shit on the spot?'
lol yeh pretty much all the time.
I don't think it matters one bit when it's single player. Cheating only matters when you're playing competitively.
Downloaded it and played it for a bit. It's really not a very good looking game at all and I didn't enjoy playing it much either. Saints Row 3 is a big improvement IMO gameplay wise as well as visually.
Your reason for paying for it is pretty much everyone's reason too. You paid for it because you had to in order to play with your friends. Everyone basically has to pay for it to play online. They don't really have a choice unless they don't want online play.
If MS ever gave the option to play online with a silver account subscription numbers would plummet.
Still waiting for it in Europe.
edit: Yeah we have a slightly different collection of free games here. Some of them are the same though. I think SCEA and SCEE decide which games to put up independantly and they only change one or two of the full games each month leaving the others.
I'm not surprised though. Can't be easy getting publishers to allow their games to be free on PS+. I hope they give some more Sony games for free. Would love for Killzone ...
I'm playing BC2 on PC mainly because I can't run BF3 very well and to be honest I do like the gameplay but everyone goes lone ranger. When I used to play BF2 it was awesome playing in a squad because they stuck together.
I think they announced there would be some sort of trial version like WoW which you would be able to play up to a certain level. I think you should just wait for that and if you like it then buy it.
The game IMO doesn't have the replayability of D2 and don't like the change to repair costs since it now costs me nearly as much to repair in inferno than I can make while playing.
I don't mind the balancing changes but the auction houses don't wor...
It's as you say. At the moment everyones pretty bored of the content and the only thing to look forward to is the new expansion so people stop playing and will be back for Mysts of Pandaria.
It's not hard to pick up and play. SP serves as like a big tutorial though and my brother got a lot better at the game after playing through it since he's not a big gamer.
I haven't played a full Ghost Recon game since GR2 back in the day on PC. These new ones just don't cut it from the demos I tried.
He's talking about PS+ which is a paid service. Of course they won't be completely free since you have to pay for PS+ but having those games as part of PS+ is a really good idea IMO as I was going to post the same thing.
Frostbite 2 belongs to the company he works for so maybe he'd need to get express premission before using it for stuff unrelated to his job. I think CryEngine 3 has a free version people can use as one of my friends is using it for his Masters degree.
This really annoys me since I've been really looking forward to this game. I'm hoping it doesn't go down the toilet.
Dedicated servers doesn't mean much. MW3 supported dedicated servers too but they weren't ranked and gave no experience so it was pointless playing on them.
MW3 is pretty bad on PC. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
That's a bit of a shame really because I really enjoyed the game and think it has quite a bit going for it. I wonder if it would have sold better had it still had the style of the old games.
The stealth gameplay makes the game look and feel very much like Thief especially with all the looting of items and pouches of coins. Really looking forward to this since I love stealth games.
