"I would not be too sure that the PC version outsells the console versions either."
The series wouldn't even be known to console users if it wasn't for people buying it on PC.
While I admit the booing was highly unneeded, the whole series was geared on PC. You're not going to find the earlier ones from 3 on console.
"still Mario advance 3 and kirby and the amazing mirror are fantastic titles that prove the 10 free gba titles alone make up for the 80 dollars extra i spent to get my 3ds."
You can Ebay/Craigslist all those games them lower than $80.
And yes, I did do that research. Also where in the world did you get warioware inc for $98? Brand new is $40.
@Pandamobile
What the hell happened to "voting with your wallet" on this site?
It's now turned to "people being stupid".
Some people like to go DD, but not get strongarmed into their choices.
For me I'm getting my game through physical retail, but still, calling people stupid just because they choose not to get strongarmed into their choices is kinda fickle.
The point being, since you guys missed it, is that it's well over feasibly possible for them to hit a giant space marker.
Instead people on here think that when you bring a similar concept, which actually holds truth as to how they can get to there, they think you're needlessly bringing up a platform to "show off".
Also my numbers was off a bit. Torchlight 1 is even larger than what i stated earlier.
@WhiteLightning
But that would make sense on a quality level. We can't have that going on this gen. We need to have games rushed on timeframes. /sarcasm
"For the price of one game I get a year of XBL gold and for my money it's worth it. "
You're actually getting cheated in the long run. I mean they tried to push that crap on PC players, and they weren't having it, cause there were better options.
"If Valve shut it's doors, Steam users would be in the exact same boat. "
Not exactly. People already made programs on the forums that are ready for validation changes if steam goes down.
"I guess if I said I was buying 2 copies of BF3 that would have ben ok then. Damn, kids these days!"
I know right. Pointlessly buying 2 copies...
the ORIGINAL Torchlight is around 840MB when installed on PC.
"Their focus has shifted to making Kinect a successful device"
Yes, by shoving it peoples' faces now.
"Knowing that World of Warcraft recently went F2P up to level 20, that will surely bring in additional subscriptions, so stating without extra empathy to that and their previous decline - it is kind of misleading."
Where was that shown to be factual?
"Out of the big three Sony is the MOST reliant on exclusives. Without exclusives they couldn't make enough money to stay open. Nintendo and M$ on the other hand would do fine without making money off games."

@RedHemi300c
Guess what? We'll be the minority soon if that whole $1 phone games idea keeps skyrocketing.
Just because it takes off doesn't mean it's the best.
"They can't do what COD does year after year."
Reusing the engine and just changing a small few things? :p
"even with piracy multiplats usually sell best on 360 so that must mean that not many 360 gamers are pirates"
And what exactly were you getting at with this statement?
"Cool cus I'm buying the pc version so I don't really have to worry about the online pass stuff. "
1/2 the stuff everyone deals with doesn't really pertain to PC gaming anyways.
I'm more concerned about them pushing a $60 tag, considering that the industry previous excuse for it being $60 on consoles was licensing fees for the systems.
If that's the case then why do they need to increase $10 more on a PC version?...
Team Fortress you can run a server from your own computer. >_>
Aside from that though I so sorta agree to what you mention. It's annoying to pay for a game, and then a few years down the line you find out it'll become worthless basically.
"no you havent , because they are new and unique in their own ways"
You mean a fresh coat of paint...
@JellyJelly
Then apparently their system had a mess-up, because the last 3 codes we did worked on an account basis, not system basis.
Busy messing around with the various games you mean.
When he plays the same game twice, either from the different region or platform, that's a bit much.
