Thank you BlackKnight. Glad to see someone else that actually explained out in detail on this situation.
@LOGICWINS
One easy example is the DWG3 review.
I refer IGN as a whole on the site, reviewers and community alike.
I don't think there's anything "wrong" as far as one person not liking something.
The problem with IGN, is they try to pass their likes/dislikes as fact, which is an issue when trying to describe a game. They are vague when describing games when they aren't "mainstream", and sometimes even when they are.
"And they were ordered? Really? by who?"
Something tells me you didn't research into this situation.
@M-Easy
It's longer. If it's the pre-patch difficulty, it's 100+.
How many times are you going to comment on DW submissions here? It's like you have some grudge against them.
"360 games on PC, RIP PC Gaming?"
Wait what?....How is it that a platform that can incorporate 2 separate platforms means the other is dying?
Wouldn't it help the whole thing? That's potential for more PC gaming, not less. >_>
Thanks for the laugh for people who were ill-informed on the situation.
@antz1104
So you don't question anything they do?
He is a legend. It's just that he's falling short from that throne as of late.
"PC game -> 360" is exclusive?
We changed the definition of the word didn't we? :P
@Cenobia
Basically what I'm stating is that there's other ways to tap into the used market-> new without making it seem like they're penalizing people who buy cheaper/used.
You would think that, but no. It's gotta be a huge hassle to take off your credit card.
"These rights are in place to help developers. They aren't there to hurt you. "
Still doesn't stop the idea behind it. They may not intend for it to hurt you, but on a different scale it can.
Thing is, this is a business practice. Nothing stated that we had to accept situations that they throw at us, nor are we obliged to as well. Their job is just like everyone else's. The people that do the actual heavy work of the game aren't the...
When you think about it though, Atlus is technically a small publisher/development company.
"Sure the person that sold the game is not online anymore and someone is taking their place but all his stats are still stored on the server and it puts it's strain. "
If you worked with networking, it's very, very small in comparison to other things....Barely a blip.
If stats WERE a strain on the servers, then I would be worried for the online of that game, since the network would be 100x worse than people playing the game.
@LordMe
They've been alive for the past 20+ years with the used gaming industry.
Rather than allocating their own funds when increasing resources, they prefer to take that funding more away from consumers. Do you really think in the progressive long-run, that they could have come up with more ways, instead of trying to tap into areas that lasted for YEARS on end, and "somehow" it's now an issue within the past 3 years?

and yet P2P makes it even WORSE for lag.
@BurninDragon08
You realize easy means "easy to learn and play", right?
If someone said World of Warcraft was easy and someone went "Oh yea, what's your gear?", that doesn't pertain to the situation.
And then devs will start blaming something else on the sales when they see that it's not as high as it used to be.
The thing is, price drops vary. It's not guaranteed which is the key issue here. I see games that are still at the opening price 10 months later down the line.
