Did you just question the series starting on PC?
Cause if you did, then you can show where 1942 was on consoles.....Or Battlefield Heroes, or BF2142, or BFF2P, Special Forces, Codename Eagle, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons of WWII, Euro Force, Armored Fury, Northern Strike.
The series started in '99 yet the consoles didn't start with the series till '05...

Actually it is. It's not using the strengths of the consoles, it's just them using money. This doesn't really sway anyone in getting this version over say, the PC one.
All it really does is serve as an annoyance.

He meant the stipulation about more than 1 free dlc over a specific size.
They heckle the devs to charge for much of the DLC.

A lot of multiplayer maps that you paid a whole nother game for. Bots and splitscreen are present in the games that you mention.
The only thing different it has going was zombie and dead ops arcade, and zombies is done from L4D and many many other games.
And yes DLC is milking when you have to pay $60 for 4 se...

In a way I'm glad to see someone actually clarified this out on this site instead of the anti-hate going on. From a business standpoint it makes sense. However from a consumer standpoint...it's pretty crooked.

My view on that is different. Many devs now are making it so that those that have to wait later on, get more extra content, than if they went out and got it immediately.
Plus most devs are making it harder to buy games out on Day 1, because of any assortment of either bugs, dlc abuse...
As a person who played and owns the original game, it would be very ridiculous if they made it all just Kinect, which was one of my worries of the game.
In a way i'm glad to see that they are using the controller along side of it, but bummed that they're just using a standard controller.

Keeping it closed mainly for themselves hinders progress.

So instead of a developer using it's resources for the strengths of all platforms, you say it's a GOOD THING that they have to SPLIT that resources, or get strong armed into getting cut off on 1 platform.
How is this good business for anyone else but MS, especially for Indie devs?
On a logical scale, this is actually holding things back.
Despite the anti-gamestop comments that are shown, and much more to come, legally I think they're able to do this.
Doesn't stop it from being a jerk move.
Plus it's funny to see people just go "screw GS", as if they read this site, let alone know it exists. :p

There's a few things off with your statement.
1) When you said they can't return the game as well, if you're taking up the offer, you more than likely already used the game to begin with, and since it's a PC game, when was the last time you heard any retail location returning a used PC game considering many games use Keys to register the game.
2) Statistically you said 10-15% of people will take up the offer. If that'...
