That really doesn't tell me much, especially since the I've played FF9 and FFX and didn't notice a big change, besides the graphics.
Goes to show you don't have to be from America to get offended by something you read online.
Shame I had some high hopes for this game, I'll still give it a rent.
Sequels aren't always a bad thing, if they are done correctly. Assassin's Creed 2 is a great example of a sequel done correctly and done in a way that brought more depth to the storyline and its characters.
Also I would love to see a sequel to Omikron, as the first game had an amazing concept but the gameplay almost ruined the game.

Not a bad list, though I would have put Dragon Age as the overall winner. As it was favorite RPG of last year. Demon Souls was good, though didn't have enough story elements to keep me interested.
Good score, I'll definitly be giving Hard Rain a try. As it's been awhile since I've played a good console adventure game.
The only thing I'm not sure of is if I should buy or rent. Quantic Dream has said that the game will have an excellent re-playability. But with so many developers stating the same thing. I'll probably wait for a few more reviews before I make my decision.
@mega BIG time : Too Human can't be on the list, as it was released back in 2008 and not 2009.
Not surprising, I think if you look at most Final Fantasy games (7 and after). The majority of the space on the disc is taken up cinematics.
I also thought that the Wii would be a fad, but over the years with it sales continuing to rise. I released that it is no longer a fad, but an outlet for more casual game players. People that were introduced to gaming through cell phone games and wanted to continue that experience in front of their tv.
Well deserved, I'm about a 3rd of the way done the game and having an excellent time.

Back on topic it just seems that a PR person misspoke or confused the WW numbers with US numbers.
Actually I believe it was the game developers themselves that suggested this fix, while they work on patch to fix the issue.
It's a shame that the game was released with such a big issue. Though it doesn't effect me much as the game will probably be patched before I pick up my copy.
Overall I would have to go with Half-Life 2 though with so many great games released in the past 10 years. It's hard to choose a favorite.
Also I don't see why it would be disappointing that someone would choose Halo. As the game changed how FPS played on the consoles, for the better if I might add.
Good news about Bioshock 2. I loved the first one and was hesitant about the sequel. As its not being developed by the original team.
I am suspicious about the comment that "Tops the original in terms of storytelling and combat.", Though I will happy to be proven wrong.
Honesty it's unfair to compare two unreleased games together. Both titles are promising and are from developers with good track records.
There are also unknowns about both games, that may make a direct comparison unfair (ie if one game is more open-world then the other, how many characters are rendered on the screen at a single time).
If true I might never finish Resonance of Fate. As I usually get bored with most JRPGS at the 25 to 30 hour mark. I can only hope that the story is good enough to be keep me interested.
