So you want PSNow to crash and burn because its purpose does not fit your agenda? You sound real dumb. PSNow is not the answer to backwards compatibility, Sony has already stated this. If you already own a game why would you be looking to rent it off PSNow? PSNow is a streaming service geared towards people who don't own a particular platform (I.e. PS3 games are meant for people who do not own a PS3 but may want to play some PS3 games). If you own a PS3, buy t...

Were you one of the rabid fanboys that screamed how much better XBL was last gen for MP gaming despite 99% of their games using P2P, while the PSN had dedicated servers for most of their exclusive MP games?

This gen, both companies have games that use dedicated servers (although MS most likely has more servers available), but let's keep it real. Most big name MP games use dedicated servers, whether its from Sony/MS or from the publisher the...

Sorry, but comparisons this gen have much larger differences than last gen. Whether YOU notice it or not is a different story, but to say differences like 1080p vs 900p, 900p vs 720p, or even 1080p vs 720p (MGS:GZ) are smaller than last gen is a flat out lie. Last gen the differences were extremely marginal (with the exception of a few games like bayonetta and ghostbusters), and yet Xbox fanatics would brag. Now they have trouble tasting their own medicine. They want to brag when their team w...

To be fair, he did not mention what types of games, you just assumed AAA retail games.

@ Death

Every time there is an article about how PS4 games have better graphics, Xbox fanatics dodge the issue by saying graphics don't matter gameplay does. Now here you are calling indie titles shovelware? Why? Because it doesn't fit your agenda? Many of the Indie games on the PS4 have better gameplay mechanics than some of the retail exclusives on the Xbox One. If gameplay is such a big factor, why remove them from the equation if they are good games? You also ment...

Not to burst your bubble, but 720p does not have 4 times the pixels as 480p. It has 3 times the pixels if the signal is 4:3 and even less if it's 16:9. You fail at math.

Also, PS2's library being 240p-320p? Are you serious right now? I would ask you to provide the source for your information but I have a feeling it's your ass, which is also where your brain must be. Sorry if I'm coming off rude, but your post is just full of fail.

I apologize, I thought Halo games were already 60 fps which is why I didn't mention it. I haven't completed a Halo game other than ODST, so TMCC is a good value for me. People seem to be misinterpreting my comment trying to convey the value of TMCC when all my reply was, was a correction to its technical fidelity not it's apparent value.

@ vickers

Saying the last of us doesn't have much appeal in general terms is a bit presumptuous. Consider t...

Actually, if I recall correcrly, TMCC consists of one remastered game (Halo 2); one re-release (Halo: CE, released on Xbox, re-released on Xbox 360, and re-released again on Xbox One... three platforms, is that a first?); and two HD remakes (Halo 3&4 are nothing more than resolution bumps).

@ flamehawk

Actually it's not as obvious as 4 games to 1. Especially considering the 4 games can be purchased for less than $20 collectively, and the 1 game can be purchased for around the same price (vgpc has it a little over $20). And that's not taking into account the season pass or the left behind DLC that will be included. Being a rip off is a matter of perspective, some people may feel that paying $60 for under $20 worth of games is more of a rip off than paying...

I hope you are not using Metacritic as a source for "the highest rated next-gen retail game" since Rayman Legends and FIFA 14 both have higher scores, both of which are "next-gen retail games" as you put it.

Not knocking Titanfall, just your erroneous (as usual) comment.

Do you think a company would prefer 100 million people that subscribe to a site to actually buy products, or 500 million people that subscribe to a site to take selfies and post pictures?

Please explain more about the gameplay mechanics, since you've obviously played the game already.

Xbox one gamers don't care because they have no choice but to have the short end of the stick (for the most part). Multi console gamers care because they want to know which version will be more value for their money. Playstation 4 gamers care because during last gen xbox fanatics made a bigger deal for much smaller differences (chances are 100% of these people all of a sudden feel differences don't matter or all of a sudden don't see differences in resolution and frame rates).

Did you miss the part where they wrote "However, he thinks its too early to deliver a final verdict of its benefits since its still more than a year from launch". Or the part where he said "its too early to know the exact performance gain...". Did you read the part in the article where they referenced the Xbox One in regards to DX12? Oh wait, you couldn't have because they didn't mention it. That's probably because the guy with direc...

If it will take years before cloud processing will yield any substantial results, then why even mention it (not you personal, I'm referring to Microsoft and the people who think "its the second coming".) Its highly likely our infrastructure won't be up to par during the Xbox One's lifespan. If that's the case then all this cloud talk is moot, just straws fanboys grasp on, nothing more than wishful thinking.

Point is... Clo...

Would you have rather them abandoned the PS3 (like some other company) and release GoW:A, GT6, TLoU, Beyond Two Souls, Ratchet and Clank: Nexus as PS4 launch titles? You seem to ignore the fact that Sony was making AAA games for two consoles simultaneously. I'd say considering that fact, the PS4 launch window titles were good. Coupled with the indies, f2p, and better multiplat games, I'd say Sony has done a great job so far ensuring PS gamers are satisfie...

You know there is filler when all the games on the first list are also on the second list labeled "OTHER blockbuster games coming to Xbox One this holoday." They basically padded the first list with non-blockbuster games, just for the sake of having a larger number, then they padded the second list duplicating games. Either Microsoft does not know what the word 'OTHER' implies, or they are blatantly fluffing their lists intentionally. It wouldn't surprise me since they e...
