isnt that what the new engine was about?
They started to build from bottom up. (I think)
No fast paced shooter will be perfect, yes many people will be nostalgic and say counter strike, rainbow 6 and even cod 4 were perfect.
However, some weapons were over powered.
But since Black ops, the call of duty franchise has been declining because there are only soo many ways to think of or change that type of game style and gameplay.
YOu cannot re-invent the wheel, advanced warfare looks like titanfall with small titans.
The call...
there quite a theme with new games.
Most have betas and most are co-op in some way.
I think this game looks and will be great.
If you compare open world Vs open world..
GTA V offers significantly more, you can fly, drive, use boats and submarines.
Watch dogs you can drive mainly and jump walls like free running (A little).
They are very different games, but in the open world context GTA wins, because there is soo much more you can do.
I completely agree with this list, but titanfall is actually a pretty fun game.
I absolutely hated it, but having played it during the free weekend, it was not bad.
It does get repetitive but its a game that COD gamers will love. High pace with lots of explosions and killing.
Dude Samsung are making better Tvs that Sony across the board - I recently purchased a 55Inch F8000 and compared it to the W series Sony and it was not as good, I checked the Av forums for the fairer and more technical reviews, and even they said Sony cant top Samsung.
And you say quality but Sony and quality have not gone together for a while (in the tv business), the Sony brand has been tarnished by not taking other competitors seriously.
in the UK Sony ma...
The real issue is Kaz inherited the company when it was in a very very bad state. He can only do so much in so little time.
Howard Stringer really put Sony in a very bad place, he did not understand what to do etc.
Sony will get back on track but they need to sell off the TV business, like they did with the laptop business, its costing them too much.
@software_lover
The Xbone controller is pretty good, and personally I think it hits most of the controller 'sweet spots'.
Though it might feel small, the general consensus is that it remains a very good controller.
I found watchdogs to be very repetitive, every mission is the same.
I had it on PC (Unfortunately) and it was unplayable even with the mod and a decent graphics card.
(Asus GTX 760 x2 ROG), it took ubisoft too long to patch it so I called steam and got my money back.
Not sure if anyone remembers a watchdogs dev said they could run ultra with the gtx 680, which makes me wonder what sort of PCs the actually did quality assurance and testing on?
Those PCs...
on PC theres a bug where if youre running up stairs against a wall, you can see through it whilst running.
Its a pretty good game though.
LOL>..
people really need to have more perspective, Yes DX12 will improve X1 - by how much?
10-15%?
So if we take the 10% unlocked from the removal of kinect, and add the 10-15% of the DX12 update it should hopefully get it closer to the PS4...
How much closer to the PS4?
Only real results will tell, from all my technical reading it will significantly close the gap, but I reckon the PS4 will still have a slight performance edge.
are we all sure the writer got it right?
To me -
Dedicated servers = stable multiplayer due to stable ping etc. No advantages to the game host.
Cloud = Raw computing power or storage for anything.
I.e to do very little GPU work, or send textures to the GPU or whatever.
Thats the general principle behind it, from a solutions architect perspective.
This article just makes me LOOL.
The 'authors' are just trolling for hits FML - they must really need that paycheck
youre 100% correct.
Usually in the UK we wouldnt get an update, or change until 1800 (6pm), MS just roll it out to all locales at the same time, rather than each time zone separately. Whats the point, this is much simple.
I can understand some peoples opinion that its too repetitive etc..
I can agree it does get quite repetitive, i mean 4 got boring because of the constant ship battles.
It sort of became ubisofts learning of how to learn from the feedback.
My biggest gripe is when desmond died. Personally it should have beens desmonds story right to the present day while travelling through history.
THats me though
install to hard drive as default.
fixes 90% of issues.
its a good tech, but Sony have signed deals to get ps now on other tv manufacturers.
Will be interesting to see what its like.
The main reason why indie games cant always make it to multiple platforms, the dev teams are too small.
in the UK a new super slim 500Gb is about £239 or so. The PS4 is about £349 or so.
The PS4 is the better proposition here, rather than the older system.
its simple.
LOOL exactly.
I dont get how these rumours already start, the game has not even been out 1 year.
Rockstar will take 3-4 years to come with the next game, they dont rush games.
And they have to write a massive story to accompany the game anyway.
