I agree with you mostly.
The Ezio story arc is definitely the best, I actually thought the Conor (AC3) was just as good.
It was a major plot twist, they way you start at Haytham then become Conor.
The combat in that game was the best because you could use combos, and kill more than 1 person in one move. (similar to brotherhood).
The problem I saw is the CEO of ubi first said the end of the game/ story arc has been written..
He then changed his statement...
That title is as suggestive as stating:
Does religion make people violent?
Does war make people violent?
Do alcohol make people violent?

Im one of those who purchased it on PC -- day one.
To be honest Ive never really had a day one game go this bad, fortunately I was refunded by amazon who let me keep the game due to me being a prime member and a lengthy compliant email.
I suspect many of the people who did get a refund from the store, the store did not get their money back from ubi :/
The issue for me is the next gen so far has been about releasing unfinished games.

Its nuts that people are arguing over a couple of frames.
But seriously both drop frames just in different scenarios.
They good thing to see, is the frames dont immediately jump back to 30 to only drop again, once dropped they remain stable at 25-28 (on both consoles) before returning to 30 when possible.
All in all I would say they are quite similar because they both excel in different parts and they both drop frames in different parts.

Ive managed to complete the game, it was relatively smooth, looked and worked great.
But now when I launch the game (if uplay is online) it crashes out.
I dont have the most powerful setup out there, but my specs should easily play this game at 1080p 60fps..

Nope..It does not work atm.
For most people, when you press continue it crashes the software.
When the game does work, its probably one of the best looking games right now, but its not been optimised at all.
People running GTX 970s in SLI cant even get the game to work smoothly
This PC build is quite good though.
I understand its hard to potentially stop everything, but many parents will just do anything to keep their kids quiet...including buying GTA.
If the kid is 16/17 then it probably has limited effect and by then they have probably partaken in most of the things you chose not to believe.

It is about optimisation and the way in which various textures and different bits of data are fed through different threads (cores) in the GPU.
Its how data is passed through and processed, e.g Im not 100% sure but some of the cut scenes are passed through some form of h264 engine on each GPU - via ffmpeg or another way.
But both AMD/ Nvidia have them and using FFmpeg to do it is the best way since it works on both...

Dude its not AMD's fault.
Nvidia stepped in and had the game optimised for their GPUs.
Its a backhand shady deal clearly and its not in the interest of consumers.
I love my GTX 760 x2 card, but this sort of BS shady sh*t is not the way business should be done.
Imagine how bad it could be for consoles, without proper optimisation?
I agree the game looks amazing, once its completely fluid and smooth.
I personally feel the story was a little lacklustre and the character (Arno) was pretty boring.
The big thing that I have enjoyed with most Assassins games is the way in which the past is used to uncover things in the present.
With black flag it was still there, but a little less. We do not know who the present character is, but we see Juno.

Im still getting frame drops etc..
My brother has the 970 and his was barely working, after the patch is a lot more smoother for both of us, but its far from stable.

Dont get me wrong, I have loved every Halo I have played, but the reason why I loved them was the almost bug free multiplayer.
I can understand why it got a 6, but if assassins creed unity also got a 6 from gamespot (unity was broken in every aspect) I think halo should get a higher score..
Or the more realistic unity should be a 4.
I have many friends on xbox one who are playing and loving the revisit to the game (co op/ SP).

THe first DLC is free for everyone, anyone with a season pass gets another Ubi game for free..
They have a small selection of recent games including far cry.
