The actual article was called: Nintendo Direct, What You Need To Know.
It wasn't about Nintendo dominating, it was about what was actually shown.
I don't know why this has that title on N4G, when the actual site has a completely different title and actual meaning. Probably just trying to get clicks.
I was unsure how to word it, I meant that the consumers would have won by more if they didn't have to pay for an online service.
And I know the Wii U has free online, that's why I have one :).
I think consumers will lose, since they now have to pay for online on PS4 and Xbox One.
Well, they;re not being very aggressive on the software front, but hardware wise they're shaking the industry up bit time.
That'd be cool, I can imagine them saying "and we have a bunch of vc titles coming out pretty soon. *looks at watch* right about... Now."
That'd be a really cool announcement.
Yes, it is interesting that the wii u only got one vc game. Maybe they will announce a heap of vc titles at E3?
Well, I think I might understand what they might have been trying to say, but dafuq?
You'd be surprised how attached to their favourite console manufacturer some people can be. My best friend insists that the Xbox One will still be great despite having all those restrictions in place.
I'm not saying it was aliens, but
DayZ is a great survival game. But where's ZombiU, it's pretty good, especially with that perma-death thing where you have to re-kill yourself.
Otherwise this is a pretty solid list.
It's impossible to crown a winner this early.
Sony seems most likely to win, though.
Nintendo COULD win if they announced Smash Bros., Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Mario Kart, 3D Mario, as many titles as they can.
Microsoft has already lost unless they announce that they were joking about that DRM crap.
I don't think it would work, the one manufacturer that did survive would start putting up costs for games and consoles, while making new consoles that don't push the bar much because they don't have to since they've already won.
Plus there's always going to be PC gaming, well, PC gaming will almost definitely exist for as long or longer than console gaming. So PC gaming will still be competition.
Who said they were going to be next generation game changers?
They're meant to be a cheap, easy way to enter gaming. If they were meant to be competing with next generation consoles then you'd think they'd have around the same power and be running the same games, but they're not, they're running mobile games.
I actually want an OUYA :)
Now it's only 1 day, 6 hours, 44 minutes :D
Looks like a ghost town, when compared to while the show is on, anyway.
Their Facebook page is just full of advertisements for jobs. I can't wait to see it!
What an interesting article. I played brain training a few times when it first came out, and I actually liked it a lot, despite the fact that it was basically the same kind of stuff that I was doing (and hating) at school.
And wow, 9 people worked on it and it only took 3 months? Then it went on to sell 19 million copies! That's just incredible! It must have had a massive profit margin.
Haha, did you hear what the kamiya told Smash Bros. fans to do when they asked him if bayonetta would be in the next Smash?
He told them to F*** off.
Yeaaah, I don't think Bayonetta is gonna be in there.
It's funny 'cos I'm not a Sony fanboy, my favourite company is Nintendo (ATM).
But what is obvious is that YOU are a Microsoft fanboy, jimbobbeers.
Sounds good. I've heard that Hunters was a great game (especially considering it was a 3D first person game on the DS).
I should get Hunters..
