I am... Not against this idea.
Putting down the price on games could be a great plan to make people more interested in the system. Right now, in Australia, the price for a new Nintendo game is $100-110 (about $90-100 American), which is just too much. With games from other devs losing their value rather quickly, this could make them more competitive.
Isn't the Wii U pro controller traditional enough?
The second drop was technically unofficial since it was stores lowering the price, but it happened.
There's only a negative spin due to it being Nintendo news (and sometimes Microsoft news).
Then when something bad happens with Sony involved they spin it as a good thing or no big deal. Even when it's not.
For example, the Wii U GamePad battery life of 4-6 hours is terrible, but the PS4's 5 hours is ok because "people that game for longer than that have no life anywayz". Then they completely ignore the Pro controller with a battery life...
Ah, you from there?
I can't remember, was the last Wii fit popular in Japan?
No, actually. I started today.
And, to be fair, it was a legitimate question. Why couldn't he have just clicked the link?
It's out..
About half a million.
Why? Too hard to click the link?
They already dropped the price. Twice.
When's that Xbox One price drop coming? Oh wait.
I think the Wii U is awesome... Just because you don't doesn't mean it isn't. It is certainly more work to make than say the PS4 (not putting it down or anything, it's a great system).
They must have done tons of R&D on it, considering the amount of custom parts it has, the customised wi-fi used for streaming to the controller (and displaying the image FASTER than the TV), the NFC, TV controlling capabilities and how to use those for games all would have been much ...
I hope so, it needs to release before everyone forgets about it. If it had released as a launch title for the PS4 and Xbox One then it could have done really well, but now it looks like it'll get drowned out by other big releases..
Also, getting this for the Wii U because the closest game I have to this on it right now is ACIV.
Knack.
3D World was so good that when the credits rolled I was almost crying happy tears. It's just such a happy game. You just can't play it without a smile on your face. Then I found out that I had a bunch of unlock-able worlds to complete.
Nintendo has so many studios, even with so many games coming out in 2014 there must still be lots of games in development that we don't know about.
A smart dev will have absolutely no problems with only 2 GB of RAM. Look at Shin'en, they're using 4-8k textures.
Where have you been?
There was a story on Eurogamer about some (anonymous) dev that had trouble making a game for launch (mainly because the dev kits weren't final) and it went completely viral.
Since then three or four non-anonymous devs have come out saying that it's easy to develop for.
This is from really early on in the development. Like, really early. This picture is almost a year old now. Back then they were only using one CPU core. It's doing pretty well to look that good using only a third of its CPU.
Except that is the same image on the gamepad and TV OtakuDJK1NG..
The game looks brilliant.
Getting it (provided the reviews are good) for the Wii U.
I was unaware that anything could be an official disaster, at least, I was unaware that a videogame console could be an official disaster.
Unless Nintendo has come out and said "The Wii U is a disaster" I don't think it's possible.
