It all depends on what kind of game it is. If I can get enough replayability out of a small amount of content then it doesn't need much content. If I put the game down after 2 hours having seen it all and being unsatisfied, then the devs need to put in more effort next time.
@Sm00thNinja
Maybe he wouldn't assume you were referring to the article if you weren't commenting on said article?
Apart from the lack of a proper battle mode, this is the greatest Mario Kart game ever made. So yes, people are still playing this game.
Yeah, I can see why some people would think like that and it's okay. I just don't like the idea of it :) (probably coz I'm poor).
The idea of iterations within a console generation makes me sick in the mouth.
If anything, I see this as good for the NX as it will no longer be a mid-gen system, it'll be right in sync with these other systems.
You're the one that has disagreed with almost every comment on this article...?
Nintendo really tried to revive the Wii U. Sony pronounced the Vita dead at the first sign of illness.
Haha you're welcome. I could never be a teacher, I'm good at picking flaws but bad at expressing them lol.
(For the record I thought the article was really good, I just want to see you improve even more :D )
If the new xbox is apparently packing 6 Tflops then anything's possible lol.
I agree somewhat that Nintendo had to sacrifice much of their reputation among gamers for their casual succes. Bad luck the casuals didn't stick around.
P.S. Nice article AKR, although there was some awkward wording here and there that I think you could have put more succinctly such as "it’s also one of the best-selling video game systems ever, taking the 5th position. It’s also one of the fastest-selling systems ever". Perhaps it could have been more clearly expressed...
Hah, well you've obviously made a few more purchases than me :)
The Wii U is still my favourite (home) system of all time. Great exclusives, great multiplayer, off-tv play, it all combined to make the Wii U the perfect console for the last few years of my life. Best purchase I've ever made. Very disappointing it didn't do better, as I would recommend it to any of my friends.
I agree that it's completely possible. I can understand why they didn't put it on the Wii U, though.
By the time Rocket League was coming out on the Xbox One the Wii U had lost basically all its momentum. Despite the Wii U being powerful enough for a slightly less graphically impressive Rocket League, the effort to create that version of the game would be more than for any other ports of it, and would probably have the lowest payoff. I think, if Rocket League had c...
Yes! I really want to play this game, but haven't got a PS4 or Xbox One. I'll be getting this for the NX (once I finish school at the end of 2017 and have time to game again).
What.
No seriously, what? Nintendo fans don't care about movies? When did anyone ever say that?
@LOL_WUT
Videogames are basically movies and toys combined, so I see no problem with having toys and movies as well.
Yep, Australian prices are that wack. To the point of me being annoyed when Americans (and Canadians) complain about paying $60 for something.
Cool, I was under the impression it was some kind of doom article based on that title.
I am that much more excited for Zelda than any other game. It's had so much time in the oven, it's gotta be amazing right?
