Yeah. N4G is a trend site. Such boring fucking articles that are only here to trigger simple responses from overly polarizing vocalists. Might as well be buzzfeed or yahoo news.
It's suuuuper nice finding submissions here that actually incite productive discussion, but if you want some easy views, just make an opinion piece titled "why are gamers so dumb?". But don't actually write anything. Because no one here reads articles. They'll flock to it like ...
I feel the same way, but the majority of gamers nowadays just don't have patience anymore. "We want epic single player games.... with ultra fast and unrealistic movement! I play games to have fun, not to enjoy the countless hours of artistic work that goes into these games. Just gimme a gun and a dildo so I can enjoy myself!"
Good thing there are plenty of games that cater to that. Red Dead fills a huge void in games today, imo.
Lol, I see Strafe assuming that Majin is defending EA, but Majin isn't defending EA. I don't think he's defending anything. Just responding to people who weren't promised any time frame yet are still saying "lol wut i thought it would be 2 weeks".
Strafe over here calling people out for shit they didn't do; then telling people to ignore them. What a hypocritical prick.
God this comment can really be read as a genuine question? How many people read your comment and DIDN'T find it negative?
You got down voted for obvious reasons dude. Calling the game old and irrelevant in a smart-ass way in a thread that only people interested in the game would be present was just asking for it.
Then you go and call the site cancerous (this site is totally cancerous, i agree) when you only have 3 disagrees. Wait til you state an in...

The headline doesn't say that cross-play will win the next gen. You were triggered into an impulse response because it used the words "win next gen" and "cross-play" when the two are separate ideas. Its a shitty title and the article makes a bunch of obvious points, but you and dozens of people commenting here did the same thing - you fell for the click bait and made comments about your misinterpretation of the title instead of about the points ...
It never says that in the article. It actually states that Microsoft doesn't have enough games. And that the only way to win is games, games, period.
Smh...
If you're gonna take the time to write a comment, you need to read the article first.
It's a big deal because we now have the very first PS4 and XBOX cross-play game. Cross-play isn't news, but THIS is.
No one has ever rationally argued that. And if they did, they were wrong and were definitely called out on it. The reason it's getting so much attention right now is because we finally have the very first "rival" cross-play game: XBOX and PS4 players can now squad up in Fortnite. It's a good thing for literally everyone. And soo many people refuse to see the light in that.
This is about PS4 and XBOX having cross-play, which is why it is getting this much attention. PS4 and PC cross-play is old news. But yes, PS4 has the most games that support it.
The reason digital costs more is to give incentive for people to buy the remaining discs in stock. No publisher wants all those discs they paid for to sit in a warehouse.
Hopefully it has a reversible cove without Ganondorf. Hate it when there's a big stamp for a feature or company.
Hardware failure was covered by warranty. Pretty sure they don't count warranties in their sales. It's common knowledge that Sony is running things. No need to scrape the barrel for more ways to shit on Xbox.
We all better hope MS pulls some big moves. Ever seen what a company with no competition can do? It usually doesn't fare well for the consumer.
If it's cheaper or even the same price as PSN/XBL, I won't have any issues as long as there's enough content to justify a sub. Updating their classics with multiplayer features is an awesome incentive. Daydreaming now about Link to the Past multiplayer.
They were complaining about it years ago. And plenty of people still are...
Wut?
Haven't enjoyed a battlefield game nearly as much as BC2. I played a fair amount of BF3 and 4, and totally skipped BFONE. They just kept getting further and further away from the feeling I grew to love in BC1 and 2. The player movement just feels too loose now.
It's just one game mode.
And yet that was never an issue for Mario Maker. People made some absolutely terrific levels that I doubt anyone at Nintendo were even aware was possible. Would be the same case for a kart maker.
That's just more software sales. And there's a LOT of people waiting on metroid and pokemon. So, yeah, system sellers.
Diseases would be cool. My Arthur would definitely have lice by now. Especially in his beard. And the smell of his clothes would knock the horned tits off a devil whore, but these poker players don't seem to mind.
