i thought the disc read speed for wiiU pretty much negates any need to install. but i don't doubt that a few games might require an install.
Pretty sure it was Iwata, himself, who said that achievements and trophies distract from the intended experience of the game.
definitely true.
6? really? give your systems a break, man.
(not literally)
I think anyone who would frown at the digital triggers were probably going to get the pro controller anyway.
Imagine fighting the Sages with Ganon's powers. Starting the game off as Ganondorf, growing parallel to Link. Learning Ganon's backstory and stuff.
Although, that isn't The Legend of ZELDA.
New IP: The Legend of GANON
@Sovereign
Walmart and other 24-hour stores have a legal obligation to sell you a game the midnight it is released. If you don't see the game on the shelves, ask a clerk. If they say they can't sell it to you yet or that they don't have it in stock yet, they're probably bullshitting and are just typical, lazy 3rd shift walmart employees.. ask the manager if you have to.
When i was a kid, i picked games out based on how cool the box-art was. i remember choosing chrono trigger over starfox because the CT box was ultra badass.
So many amazing games on the Wii.
Its a shame that so many of the ones who call themselves "core" gamers (they're really just pixel gamers) decided to hop on the pixel bandwagon and completely ignore the Wii.
I can pull out my Wii 20 years from now and still be able to thoroughly enjoy many, many games, because they don't rely on the latest tech to help sell their stuff.
say console gamers one more time
i dare ya. I DOUBLE DARE YA MOTHERFUCKER
the video game industry has rules about "competition", the business term, which basically means you can't just price all multiplats much lower than the "rival" companies.
imagine if the Walmart of gaming decided to make a console (and we all know the over-all quality of walmart products) and price all their games much cheaper.
the other companies would die out
@sidar
well at least they're being honest about it.
a lot of devs wouldn't tell you one of their features is buggy. they'd go ahead and release and then update it (if they even could update it.[skyrim])
Why don't we just quit giving these shitty opinionated articles so many hits?
Unless there's something concrete in the title, I'm no longer clicking it.
Rated E for my Enormous penis.
@firelogic
to be fair, a game like uncharted doesn't have half of the variables that come with open world/sandbox games like skyrim. just being able to pick up and move objects, alone, creates a nearly incalculable amount of outcomes.
now imagine finally getting those variables under control so that when you pick up an orange, it doesn't go flying or interfere with other elements of the game. im sure it takes tons of time. then you have to optimize i...
hidden power probably isn't the best way to describe it.
but i wouldn't doubt that there are still some new tricks devs can pull by focusing less on pizel count and framerate
edit: pixel
Not just the ads.. but the big huge gray thing that takes up the bottom half of EVERY theme. never understood that.
Topdude said it first. i get tired to people complaining about snipers. if they're camping, then you should know not go where ever they have an easy shot at you.
snipers aren't so bad when you quit running out into the open.
They should keep the style of the portable Pokemon games the same. Sprites/bird's eye view and all that stuff.
But either Gamefreak or another worthy dev team should make a full 3D Pokemon game.
His logic isn't retarded. Saying sprites is their favorite art style doesn't mean they won't try something new. THAT logic is retarded.
I'm going to assume the low-rumble is for those people, like me, who constantly have to lay their controller down to do daddy/whatever stuff.
if its a multiplayer game and i can't pause it, i'll have to lay it down and i often forget to put my PS3 controller on a soft surface. the rumble scoots my controller off the table and the sound of a controller dropping is awful.
but that's just me justifying the low-vibe controller.
better GPU = less work from CPU
invalid argument
unless you wanna put all your music, movies, AND games on there, the disc read speed should get rid of any need to install.
and i dont plan on using my wiiU for movies and music. thats what the other devices i've had for 10 years do.
before i get an external drive, im gonna see how far the system will go before it becomes an inconvenience.
