Kinect's large install base is definitely helping out though.
They're supposed to adjust but I would check with them to make sure. If nothing else, you can cancel your pre-order and redo it.
Sorry about that. Fixed now.
Damn...what a flamebait title and article - "Because the first gameplay trailer shows the PS3 controls that means it will run better on the PS3!"
That's quite a reach based on no evidence.

Rawhide!
So much for Sterling saying that it isn't a beta...
@Lord - Totally agree. Dungeon crawlers have been sadly missing in this generation of consoles. Loved the Baldur's Gate games on the original Xbox.
Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, etc etc...Yes, Xbox 360 gamers are RPG fans.
Developers don't have infinite time and money. Creating games (and any software really) is a constant trade-off between what you want and what you can get in to meet a deadline.
I would think that your suggestion would be at the very bottom of the feature list.
I think this is actually showing a little bit of disorganization in DICE/EA's communications about BF3.
They release info to retailers indicating 24 players but then say it isn't set in stone. Well, why release that info then?
They then offer two different explanations about why there is a console limit.
@doa766 I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm just saying that consumers buying habits over the next year is not set in stone.
Predictions are just that...predictions. And there have been many that have been proven to be wrong in the gaming world alone.
I'm in no way saying he's right but Pachter is looking at future sales and price cuts. Being 3 million shy now doesn't guarantee a lead over MS a year from now.
I think he was pointing toward the the latter three that Acclaim published. While the first two were great they kept getting worse after that.
It was kind of confusing though because the GameTrailers piece kept showing the recent Turok that wasn't published by Acclaim.
Right...and I think that is where the limitation comes in for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. BF3 requires a DX11 card on the PC so there are going to be tradeoffs when it comes to the console versions that are pre-DX10.
Frontline: Fuel of War supported 50 players. The Xbox 360 is capable.
Oh yeah I completely forgot. Frontlines: Fuel of War supported 50 players online on the Xbox 360 with dedicated servers.
Battlefield 3 will obviously be more graphically demanding than MAG or Frontline though.
Battlefield 2 was released almost 6 years ago. Of course MAG looks better.
To be fair...pink does work with girls. I don't think it is saying that girls can't play without pink controllers but it is definitely an option.
Example: When we were buying a DSi for my daughter's birthday, she had the choice between a white DSi that came with Bowser's Inside Story or a pink DSi with no game. She chose the pink.
She plays just about any kind of game except shooters btw. That's the only one she hasn't gotten into yet ...
I don't recall them saying that they were going to do it without all the "blueness". Do remember them saying that they would tone down the use of Detective Vision in the game. How is not exactly clear yet.
How is KZ3 outselling Kinect titles when it hasn't even been released yet?
If you bothered to *read* the article you would have seen Killzone 3 and other Move compatible games plus a lack of Kinect titles over the next couple of months mentioned as a reason why things may change.
And it is hard to count LBP2 as a Move title because it basically is a tech demo with the Sackboy's Prehistoric Moves demo.
