Chris Rock reference?
A free month plus free days for ever day that the service was down? Then throw in a free in-game item?
What would make up for the downtime in your eyes then?
Yeah, I did a Google search for the release date and the original announced released date is 10/18. There is no delay.

Nothing on a PS3 version yet. Hi-Rez is a small studio and Tribes Ascend is actually their first console game. They had only been exclusive to the PC before.
It's coming to Xbox LIVE as a downloadable game.
Heh. The original Tribes is what made me decide to shell out for broadband way back then. Can't believe it has been 13 years.
You have to sign-up for Hulu Plus and use that account on Xbox LIVE. So yeah, it can work across platforms.
Hulu is only available in the USA regardless of whether it is through Xbox LIVE, PSN, or your personal PC.
Still have to go through all the procedures to update the game servers. For Xbox LIVE, that is typically performed by 5 am.
Global Agenda just went free to play so you can probably expect more content.
And...? Epic is still testing out different aspects of the game and most importantly how the new multiplayer system/dedicated servers handles the load. I'm pretty sure they have solid reasons on handling the beta this way and not just to "dis" the Bulletstorm buyers.
It's a beta, not a demo.
Shouldn't be too surprising. Porting the Wii version to the PS3 is simply more cost effective. The path of least resistance. The lonely fat drunk chick in the bar.
Really depends. Some of the stuff devs or other personalities reveal is good stuff. The Battlefield 3 devs for instance did a great job of using Twitter for a Q&A session with fans. David Jaffe has revealed some interesting thoughts via Twitter too.
Sites reporting Cliff Bleszenski every time he says something to tweak fanboys is the other end of the spectrum though and probably really not needed.
My last thought is that many game companies are essentiall...
Welcome! lol
There's been way more than that raised through other efforts both inside and outside the gaming industry. The $10,500 is just what has been raised through these auctions so far.
I can't believe anybody thought it would be Blu-ray...
My guess...pay for the client but no monthly fee. The rest of the financial support will be based on DLC micro-transaction purchases just like the PC version.
The PC version of the game is free to download/play but is supported by an in-game micro-transaction model. The hope was that a similar model would be made available for XBLA.
Well, I won't say this is the best time to confirm a multiplayer game for the PS3 but great news none the less!
