Cant we all just get along and admit that both Forza Motorsport 3 and Gran Turismo 5 are great racing simulators? Do we really have to bring all this hate to one another? I've played Forza 3, I think it's really polished and very fun. I haven't played GT5, but I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it as much as I enjoyed playing Forza 3.

I'm kind of excited to see where 343i takes the Halo franchise. Hopefully they won't change too much, but at the same time improve on some of the things that makes Halo so great. As this job type mentions the need for technical artists, it does make me curious as to how 343i will change the Halo engine. Which again, gets me excited since Corrinne Yu is on the team as the Chief Engine Architect.
We'll just have to wait and see what 343i has to bring to the table. ...

Fallout 3 had no AA on the PS3 while the 360 version had 4xAA on certain edges. This could be the same case for New Vegas. Not implementing MLAA in New Vegas could be many reasons.. MLAA could either be a big hit on processing costs, or there could be better alternatives for AA instead of MLAA. And yes, I believe MLAA has a bit more problems when it comes to thin objects (fences, wires, etc) since MLAA cannot access sub-pixel information. 5582d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
Well, whatever version you get, I'm pretty sure you'll have a blast playing it. I put it more than 100+ hours in Fallout 3, I'm pretty sure I'll do the same once I get New Vegas.
I noticed that too. The AA Makes the 360 version looks a lot cleaner than the PS3 version. Textures are obviously a bit better on the PS3 (most notably on the 2nd and 7th pic). Lighting on both versions seem to look different. Seems to me that the PS3's lighting looks more defined (Brightness/Contrast settings?)

GT5 definitely has it when it comes to car models. But judging from the video, Forza 3 has a slight edge when it comes to environments.
