I don't know about you guys, but I've always enjoyed Call of Duty's campaign. Sure, it may be a bit "Michael Bayish" (as most of you call it) at times, but overall, it has a great campaign. Never been a fan of multiplayer though... Just not my thing. I have always found other FPS games like Halo to be a bit more enjoyable in the multiplayer department.
Definitely not shelling out money on this game as I have Skyrim and Halo: Anniversary to look forward ...
Got to play the beta myself. Definitely looked/played like it was in the early stages of development. Characters would freeze or disappear during cinematics. One scene still even had there original block meshes.
Technically amazing, artistically beautiful. It's amazing how Naughty Dog is so talented they are able to combine both and make one amazing looking game.
I love Gamersyde! Not just because of their reviews, but for their HD quality videos. Seriously! They have the best quality.
Anyways, great to see Uncharted 3 getting high critical praise. It looks SOOO good! Great job Naughty Dog. Have a beer or something, you deserve it. :D
But you can always switch back to the original on the fly. Plus with all the extra stuff you get with Anniversary, this should be a great buy for all those who haven't played the first Halo or for those who want to experience the updated graphics and terminals.
I think MS has learned from the 360. The 360S had fixed a lot of the problems such as overheating, RROD, etc... But of course, the disc scratching is still the biggest problem. Hopefully MS sorts that out next-gen.
We already have two of these articles. Both of which are already in the hottest topics for today. Why do we need another one? Who's approving this?
lol
Omg dude, the taser! I remember that weapon. I remember just holding it forever and watching the enemies burn!
Ah, good times.
Cheat codes in Syphon Filter! Infinite Ammo with the M-79! >:]
The video seems pretty bogus. If that's Anniversary, how come the Halo ring is still the original one and not the remastered one (unless 343 gave us an option to go back to the original one)? I must say though, the music is really good. It doesn't really have that Halo feel, but it sounds amazing nonetheless.
The pictures on the other hand raises some questions. It looks pretty legit. Also looks like there will be a faster way to see your friends list. Argh, come on 3...
Don't you find that rather disrespectful to other developers like id? Each game is utilizing the hardware in different ways. Why do you have to go out of your way and list a couple of games that have no relation to RAGE whatsoever? How come you can't just leave those games out of it and just accept the fact that they're different yet amazing in their own particular way?
I thought it was already established that the PS3 had memory problems due to its split memory architecture? Why are we all bashing Carmack?
I've never seen so much hate for Carmack. In just two days we have now just had THREE articles about Carmack all of them filled with hate. RAGE is a beautiful looking game. Running almost a solid 60FPS with massive environments. But I guess the low-res textures and horrible pop-in just killed it for everyone.
Before ...
About 50,000 play almost everyday. It hits about 100,000 on the weekends.
What can I say? It's a fun game. lol
I..... use bing.
*flees*
Let me just clarify something, Saber is not the Halo developers. They're the Anniversary developers, but not THEE main team behind Halo. That would be 343. These guys are just speaking in general.
Well, it's not like Halo and COD are the only games in the entire universe. Plenty of other games out there. Now if you mean you want something BRAND NEW, like fresh out of oven IP, something you've never seen or heard of, then you'll probably have to wait awhile.
I'm sure someone can name a few new IPs, but I'm tired and don't know of any. lol
“We work really hard and do everything we can to make sure that quality comes first. Our primary goal is to continue to make great games."
Ah, now that is what I like to hear! Makes me feel more happy knowing 343 are focusing in quality rather than having that mindset of: "Oh, Halo is going to sell millions anyway, lets just slap Halo 4 on the title and be done with it"
Here's another good one:
"The cool thing about Mi...
GTX 590? Why dwindle in the past? If consoles do release around 2013, that card would be 2 years old. IIRC, the Xbox 360's GPU was quite powerful for its time. Later AMD cards adopted some of the 360's GPU architecture. Again, if we see a 2013 release for the next Xbox, AMD would be at what? The 9000 series of graphics cards? You would most likely see the next Xbox's GPU revolve around that architecture.
Same thing for PS3, by 2013-14 we would probably be looking ...
I hope MS come up with a better name than "Xbox 720". It sounds really cheesy for some reason.
When was the last time the 360 had a price cut in the US? Just curious...
Edit: Or just disagree with me I guess... :P
