who bought into Sony's phony financial forecasts. come on: when a company forecasts a 2.2 billion dollar profit and ends up posting a 1.1 billion dollar loss it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know that Sony has been feeding stockholders a steady diet of BS for a long time now. sony should issue PR statement decoder rings so we know what is really going on whenever an exec opens his or her mouth to issue some cotton candy flavored bs.

Exclusive to the 360
A game published by EA and 360 exclusive.
Microsoft published the first Mass Effect and whenever Microsoft foots the bill for publishing cost on a game they usually have an exclusivity contract for the franchise. show me one game published by MS that ever ended up on the PS3 or PS2 as a sequel.
But keep dreaming. Mass Effect is the best RPG for this console generation. In fact it may be the best game period released this console generation but this is debatable.
All the Sony fanboy blogs were posting that the 360 has no games for 2008 and that 2008 would be the year that the PS3 would take the lead. Just because 360 owners don't feel the need to hype the hell out of every game coming out a year from now doesn't mean they games aren't coming. The Sony fanboy machine is born of desperation anyway and to the average consumer it is really transparent.

the first week tales of vesperia came out the 360 outsold the Wii. in fact, in light of that FACT these sales figures are a disappointment considering the PS3 is made in Japan.
Is this December 2007 again when all the Sony fanboys were declaring the X360 dead in 2008 with no games? Whoever wrote this article claims to not be a fanboy but yet he has no basic understanding of how both companies have very different marketing philosophies:
Sony introduces titles years ahead of their release.
Microsoft waits until the beginning of the year to announce new titles for that year, sometimes waiting all the way up until the E3 of that year to announc...
this DLC sounds more interesting than the main game. it will be interesting to see how they combine the open-ended strategy elements with the RPG elements. 4-5 hours of gameplay is pretty good too. about the length of a half-life 2 episode and definitely worth the money if it's good.
it starts out really good (the tenpenny tower missions were awesome and pretty open-ended) but pretty soon the missions get redundant. I wish the devs had focused on a smaller world with better missions as opposed to 60+ hours of play with so much repetition and pointlessly wandering around fighting rabid dogs.
Fable 2 is better. G4 got it right which is surprising.

because everyone knows the PSN has been hacked a couple times compromising people's credit card information. as for why the PS3 hasn't been hacked for pirated games? the X360 is already hacked and is much cheaper hardware so why would a hacker bother buying a $400 PS3 just to hack it for a couple exclusives.
Sony's consoles are just as easy to hack as anyone else. Look at the PSP. that thing is so hacked they should probably start selling the games for $5 a pop so people buy them...
but you people are forgetting this includes the PSP and the PS2 which were both very successful.
The PS3 is a loss leader and is dragging their gaming division down. Expect the PS3 to take the hardest hit from this downsize. If you're still hanging on for a price cut on the PS3 any time in the future then I hear the cows will be coming home soon. I would not be completely surprised if the stop supporting the PS3 altogether in 2009.

OK, I'll grant you that whoever wrote the article is a misleading moron, however how can Sony be confident that they are outselling the 360 in the PAL regions when--
a) console sales aren't tracked by a third party in many of the more populous PAL regions.
b) Microsoft hasn't announced their recent sales figures for many of the PAL territories.

PAL doesn't even cover all of Europe either. Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland aren't PAL to name a few.
Head of a major company and he can't even get basic geography right when comparing figures. What a loser.
Pal Territories do not equal Europe. So for a Sony rep to say this refutes Microsoft's earlier statement about all of Europe is just beyond idiocy and immoral. They're two different geographical regions. More proof that Sony is getting really desperate when they have to fly in the face of basic geography in order to make their console look good.
Hope you sold your Sony stock. My prediction a couple months ago of $15-16 per share of Sony by 2009 is coming true quicker than anticip...
