IGN is nothing more than a marketing site for video games, which is why I rarely watch their reviews or go to their website anymore.
There's a lot of pressure on this game to succeed, and from the looks of things, it's coming along nicely.
It averages less than 60fps in the video. Minimum frames were at 42fps. Not too bad for the latest and very highly detailed open world game.

The game is what it is, and the reviews have been consistent. Basically the game isn't that good. I was kind of skeptical about this game since I wasn't a fan of the character models, and the fact that the gameplay looked pretty shallow, and now the reviews are in.
I'm hoping that State of Decay 2 turns out to be a good one, since I love zombie co-op gameplay, but I'll be wait...
This is not what fans of the series want. This is what people who were never fans of the series to begin with want. The same people came out of the woodwork to push for the changes that we got with Socom 4, and what a mess that game turned out to be.
I'm probably way off, but what if they plan this as an add-on to Modern Warfare Remastered? They could then just throw MW2 map packs into the mix with MW Remastered.
It's a good thing they didn't listen to him, the last two Tomb Raider games have been awesome. It really looks like he just wanted to copy The Last of Us, and it looks like he got his wish with GoW4. You have to wonder though, if Corey had of gotten his way with Tomb Raider, would Lara have had to drag some kid along for the journey too?
PS4 exclusive have gone down in quality and have gone down in number in terms of 1st & 2nd party. I agree 100%. Last generation was a much more exciting generation from all sides. Whether you're talking about PS3/Xbox exclusives or 3rd party games, last generation was an explosion of new I.P. with countless numbers of high quality triple A games.

MGS4 was the best in the series, from beginning to end. If anything, Ground Zeros was the low point of the series.

The newest Darksiders game looks more God of War than GoW4. The reviews for this game will be interesting. Reviewers will either compare it to the previous entries and the gameplay that made the series so popular, or they will review this game as if the previous games do not exist. Young reviewers (20 years of younger) who aren't particularly familiar with the series will pretend that the previous games do not exist.
