Yeah, tough to match Xbox..... How many PS2 and PS3 games are backwards compatible?...Exactly! Don't read more into my comment on backwards compatibility other than what it is. Microsoft has excelled in this department, and Xbox is better for it.
It would be pretty tough for Sony to match Xbox, much less one up them, without PS2 and PS3 games being playable on PS5. I think Sony will make the PS5 backwards compatible with PS4 games, as they should, but I would be surprised if it goes beyond that.
I wonder if this means the end of new Call of Duty games releasing on Steam. With EA and Activision not releasing new games on Steam, the store catalog is going to start to get watered down. If Ubisoft ever pulls out, then Steam may not be quite so attractive, but I doubt this will happen anytime soon. Ubisoft's games are usually always comfortably placed in the top 100 games list, so Steam looks to be a big benefit to them.
Wow, first Hellblade was announced this week, and now Crash. I wonder what other games will be coming over in the months ahead.
I think I would prefer a swimsuit model theme, but that's just me.

Perhaps you can explain what 343 "did to Halo 5" so I fully understand what it is that you are referring to, that would be great! Is it the 4 player campaign co-op that they included? Is it the 8 player online co-op that the game has? Is it the multitude of maps and game modes that the online multiplayer offers? Is it the buttery smooth controls and 60 fps gameplay? Is it the fact that the graphics are the best in the series to date?

I tried playing it over at a friends place when it originally came out, since I had to see what all the hype was about. Ultimately, it just wasn't for me. I'm also not into the Dark Souls or Demon Souls series, so I suppose it's no surprise.

I would wait for the PS5. If your PS4 is still working well, I would just stick with that. The regular PS4 and the Pro are still going to get the same games. If you've got a 4K TV, then maybe it might be worth it, but the PS4 Pro doesn't exactly do 4K all that well. I bought a loot box once on Gear of War 4, and then never touched another one on any game since. I found it to be a rip-off, and with Gears 4, you don't really need to spend the money anyway, since you can unlock credits pretty easy to purchase loot boxes with.

This article is hogwash. The Switch has a long way to go before it comes close to Xbox One sales. Not only that, where are these games that people seem to think the Switch has. People get excited when they hear about old games like Doom, skyrim and Payday 2 coming to the system. They have Zelda BoTW, Mario Odyssey, Arms, and Splatoon 2, other than that, it's a waste of time. oh, and they have that cardboard stuff going on, I mean give me a break!
