I personally think that video games, just like music and movies, do play a part in forming the minds of children. Back when I was growing up, gangster rap was just coming into popularity with NWA and Public Enemy, and this stuff was tame compared to what kids are listening to today.
When I was growing up, we were playing Pac Man, Frogger and Super Mario Bros, but these days, almost every popular game has some form of violence, and so kids these days are having different exp...
Just give me a good game, and keep politics and this non-stop virtue signaling out of it. I have a feeling that I'll be buying fewer and fewer games as the years go on.
They'd probably sell more copies if they would incorporate a dating message board in the game. GTA should do that next time, kind of like they did in GTA4.
I've been playing this game a lot lately on Xone Backwards Compatibility, and there's still many people playing online. I'm not sure if the remaster is necessary for Xbox owners, since the original game still looks rather good, and has really smooth gameplay.
If you have a 4k TV or a 1440p PC monitor, then yes it's worth it. If not, then I would hold off until you get one, otherwise you won't see the full benefit of having the Xbox One X.
What are you talking about? He's 6'8" tall, 215 lbs, with black steel dripping down his back, wearing google prototypes. He's the two time!

It's the best handheld ever made IMO, particularly when you take into account the games.
There are some pretty dull people out there who will buy into a game built for micro-transactions, but I think there is a greater awareness that is starting to come about, which will surely render this game a failure, by the time it launches. Parents of most kids, will only pay for so many games based on massive amounts of micro-transactions. I would recommend to most parents, to go out and get their kids a Nintendo Switch, and skip the nonsense that companies like Blizzard, Bioware and Bungi...
This explains why I received a random friend invite lastnight, by someone with zero gamer score and who has just over 1000 friends....
I wish Microsoft would just leave the social aspect of their service alone. All of this trying to find ways to add friends and 'suggested' friends with people who I don't know, is a bit ridiculous.
I actually like choosing my friends by playing a few games with them, and if they're cool to play with, and if...
I hate the way Ubisoft is making their games this generation. There's absolutely nothing memorable about them. Once they decide to shut down the servers, there will be no going back, just move on and buy the next 'service'.
For Xbox One S, I've heard people suggest that this might only be useful for video play-back, but I guess we wont find out until after the update.
These people have an obligation to complete the project, or else they should face legal action. There has to be a way to audit this studio to see just where the money went. This is the kind of behavior that could destroy crowd funding all together.
I didn't really want to pleasure you with a response, since your posts make no sense most of the time, but with your mention of people being uneducated about the games industry, I felt compelled to respond.
The basic rationale for wondering why a studio would choose a publisher, who really doesn't publish many highly acclaimed game titles, is why couldn't they do a deal with a larger publisher? Were other publishers not interested? If the game that they are maki...
I still have my PSP, and it was a great system and was pretty well supported both by first and third party developers. I'm not sure why they didn't put the same resources into the Vita. It certainly is the best handheld ever made in terms of just the hardware, but they had no business plan for it.
The big problem with PlayStation TV, was that not all Vita games were supported because of the touch screen controls. That's what turned me off of it.
Why 505 Games? There's almost nothing good that is published by 505 Games, in my opinion.
I really wanted to buy a Vita when it was announced, but I was waiting for the console quality games that I though would come to the system, only to be left extremely disappointed. I was clearly not the only one, since I think it only sold around 13 million units.
It's too bad, since I hate gaming on a smart phone, mainly because the games are terrible, and i don't like touch screen controls. I would love to see Sony bring Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Killzone: Merce...
It works like a charm too. If you're not an Xbox owner, the Xbox ecosystem on PC and smart phone is a good place to start, and it's free to play online on PC. Here's hoping that they bring an Xbox 360 emulator to smart phones at some point (backwards compatibility program).
Video games do have an effect. This is why now video game makers and movie makers are really pushing the whole 'inclusivity' narrative, because they know that they are influencing the next generation of teachers, intellectuals and law makers. Violence is just another aspect that kids are being exposed to at a younger age, which surely does have an effect.
This kind of violence, and terrible language that people use during online chat, has never been experienced by ...
