I would agree with these 49% of gamers. While there have been some great games this gen, it pales compared to the last two generations in particular, in terms of new I.P., less monetization of games(DLC, Micro-Transactions ect..ect..) and just all around variety from top publishers.
@jznrpg
Actually, they have been making some great games this generation. There are no sci-fi shooters as good as Halo 5, other than Titanfall 1&2, and there have been no 3rd person shooters as good as Gears 4, other than Uncharted 4 and Ghost Recon Wildlands. In terms of multiplayer, there are not many games that touch the quality or breadth of content that Halo 5 & Gears 4 offer, not by a long shot.
But then we get into Forza 7 and Forza Horizo...
After buying the first game on day one, and seeing how disappointing it was, I'm amazed at how many people bought Destiny 2, despite the fact that it has sold less than the first one.
I agree with you entirely in regards to online trophies.
Doesn't look any worse than a VR headset on your head.
Last week we received news that Killzone 2&3 servers would shutting down, and now this week it's Gran Turismo 6.... This totally undermines the value of the Playstation Now service. You would think that maintaining the functionality of their online servers, for two of their top franchises would be important. I was playing KZ3 online around a month ago on my PS3 and it still is a fun online shooter.
"How EA Killed Need For Speed & Mass Effect"
.....and Medal of Honor... and Dead Space.... and Star Wars Battlefront
It probably never will, but that's ok. Now back to playing PUBG!
Honestly, who really cares at this point. They're both great console, so lets just move on.
Trying to lure people with loot boxes of all things lol. The video gaming industry is going down the tubes. As these companies continue to promote this garbage, I'll be looking to real developers who have passion for making video games, developers like CD Projekt Red.
"EA Server Issues Effect All EA Titles"
It should be 'affect', not 'effect'.
I bet that you were one of those 39,000 people....
EA messed up so bad this year, that I still can't even bring myself to buy Mass Effect: Andromeda, even though the deluxe edition is on sale for $19.99 USD.
Men always get less poontang after they get married and have kids anyway....
Time to polish up that EA Golden Turd award once again...
I've never played the previous entries in the series, but I love all of the God of War games, and this looks like it's seriously channeling GoW, which is a good thing. I might have to keep an eye out on this one, because it's looking good from what little they're showing in this video.
I'm really not too sure about this game. From the E3 reveal, it seems like a micro-transaction cash register, with the people in the game trailer talking about upgrading this and upgrading that.... Once they finish this game, hopefully they can get back to business and start work on a proper Mass Effect game. If they don't get back to basics, they'll be going down the tubes in short order.
The fella recording the video has some pretty bad reaction time. Also, when you see the red lasers on your head, you can't just stand there like that. Also, why only two examples?
Until they get rid of CEO Andrew Wilson, they will continue to chart the same course. They need a fresh face to lead the company.
