I've been on the PSN since early 2007 with the PS3 and guarantee it runs a thousand times better today than it did then. I remember so many days back then which were spent trying and trying to login. Today downtime is pretty rare, though not unheard-of. Most reports on N4G regarding PSN downtime is either isolated or complete BS.
Also with LaserDisc the diode was notorious for burning out due to heat generated by the laser passing through it. Basicly it guaranteed LaserDisc players needed repaired regularly which wasn't cheap and happened way to often.
Fallout: Allons-y
I see big news headlines in the future regarding Hideo, Kojima Productions and Sony. The current exclusive deal is only the tip of the iceberg.
They already gave access to one of those cores months ago.
Mine is 2 years old and I never hear a peep out of it.
Except for the fact that Killswitch introduced that cover system back on PS2, run, cover, shoot, repeat. Killswitch even had blind firing from cover.
Sony can request classic games from devs/publishers and unlike everyone on N4G (combined), sony will be heard loud and clear. Sure it doesn't mean devs have the resources to make a game simply because Sony requested one, but Sony still has a better chance of getting it done.
Yeah, Front Mission Evolved was extremely disappointing. Just release FM3 in all it's glory, 1080p, 60 FPS and with a fresh coat of paint. Maybe trophy support and I'm happy.
Hello Games announced a June release but have yet to set a firm day it's releasing on.

I've said it before, Front Mission 3. Anyone who missed this classic tactical RPG is truly missing out.
Keep in mind these are digital downloads and physical copies still sell a lot more. I would think new games sell more physical copies and older games likely sell more digital copies (my opinion).
I would finally buy MKX if this offered in NA.
My point is valid. Someone does need to grow up and it's not me. Lol.
Lived this once? Are you talking about Virtual Boy or $90,000+ machines that played a single game? I've been around a long long time have never seen this level of quality at affordable prices for the mass market in my lifetime. And yes PSVR, Oculus and Vive plus upgrades to PC's is affordable compared to paying $100k or more to experience VR. This is what i've dreamed of since the early 90's and I'm happy to be at ground level of Home VR and can't wait to see what it l...
The higher the early adoption rate, the more developers/publishers will support VR sooner rather than later. I agree it's here to stay, just don't want to wait longer than necessary for big name games. Though the ability to play NMS in VR and RIGS, Ark, EVE and a few others will be awesome.
Day 1 for me too.
And yet below you I see lowkey10011 praising Elite Dangerous on X1. A similar game which lowkey says will also contain billions of worlds and running on less capable hardware than the PS4. And I am to believe X1 can and PS4 can't? Not this gen i'm afraid.
YOU wrote an opinion piece, the YOU posted that opinion piece on N4G, yet YOU AREN'T looking for clicks? I'm confused.
On topic, I'll reserve judgement for when I play it.
I thought about my PSN ID before purchasing my PS3 in 2007 and considered the long-term viability of my choice. I decided ZeroOnyx was good then and years later.
Tip: network ID's are a lot like tattoos, they stick with you a long time so never use a significant others name or you may end up regretting it.
