If they re-release Front Mission 3 on PS4 for $15, count me in. It was one of the best PS2 games EVER (IMHO) and I would love to play it again.
Wild Arms 3 was a great game. Maybe not your style both many people including myself loved it. Now I need Front Mission 3 and I'll be a happy camper.
The Beta was an unbalanced snooze fest. And I've heard that some game modes are still very lopsided in favor of one side.
Awesome, now the PC master race can finally enjoy some sloppy seconds. Go ahead, we upgraded to current gen.
@divineassault
Zelda has never allowed hardware/software limitations stop it from being an action RPG, and it has been around since the NES days.

I see reviewers who dislike the genre they reviewing all the time, for decades now actually. It makes no sense to me. If you dislike a genre you will give those types of games lower scores and make suggesstion to change it to suit your tastes. If you hate how slowly a turn based combat RPG moves, who are you to suggest they speed it up to suit your action/adventure preference. I want old school remake of a classic FF game that is turn based. Lets hope we get V or VIII and they keep it turn ba...
Rather than stating "people" have turned against turn based combat, it should state "devs" have turned against turn based combat. Many "people" including myself would love more turned based combat RPG's, I'm looking at you FFVIIR.
I'm tired of these dumb articles. There will be another gen and most likely a few more. When the home console market dies I'll stop playing or just get old consoles.
I expect this sort of thing to be fairly common this gen across all game genres. This isn't the first X1 exclusive to broaden the prospective audience by releasing on other consoles, and it won't be the last.
There are no official numbers for X1 outside American NPD numbers.
The PS4 had the better version since launch (console version).
The UK as well as here in America are the strongest markets for the X1 and yet both are favoring the PlayStation brand this gen so this not shocking.
November NPD even showed X1's October momentum has stalled out. To the surprise of many a Dudebro the X1's greatest holiday lineup in history failed against the PS4.
Wait till next year when Sony actually comes out of their corner swinging.
Boom goes the dynamite!
Just give me Front Mission 3 please.
Wild Arms 3 would be great. However, I really want to play Front Mission 3 more than anything. FM3 maybe a strategy/RPG but it was one of the best games released on the PS2 and way better than Front Mission Evolved on PS3. IMHO.
Or Gamecube.2 (Gamecube point 2) which makes me think of the Japanese only Gamecube made by Panasonic I believe which featured a DVD player for movies with functioning DVD player buttons up and down the front of the console.
My anticipation for this remake is beginning to fizzle out. I can live with the switch to an action RPG (yes despite a certain person here it's still an RPG and you'll still have to level up). However, I don't think I can swallow the episodic pill. Such a shame :(
Edit: I'm not saying there is no way I'd buy it in episodic form, it's just a lot to swallow right now. If the pricing vs content (and there better be plenty of extra content) is balanced ...
I'll Admit I was hoping deep down FFVIIR would remain turn based but Did like what they showed. After Christmas I plan to buy the original (port) and FFVIIR day 1 most likely.
You're clueless, the Xbox division as a whole will possibly never be in the green. M$ and sony eventually made profits off off each of their consoles last gen. However, M$ has yet to actually make money from the Xbox division which is why you'll find articles speculating whether or not M$ should/will sell off the Xbox division as a whole.
