If you bothered to watch the road to PS4 you would know that Sony went to 30+ development teams that make AAA titles and asked what they wanted in the next gen system and the 2 top answers were better GPU and large pool of unified RAM. If that doesn't show they care about developers then maybe you should remove your xbox blinds BC I haven't heard M$ say they did the same. M$ probably told the developers the same thing they tell their consumers, ” deal with it ”
Cerny already talked about starting with 2 gig of GDDR5 RAM and bumping it up to 4 gig and then 8 gig. it wasn't about M$ at all. It was about availability and cost. I think I'm in the majority that will buy DLC for the games I enjoy playing. Obviously not everyone will pay for DLC, but a game like.gov means it's your lose BC most players have more maps and accessories. But enjoy it for what it is for you I guess
N4G ran an article recently that was an interview with the CEO of Activision. He said in his interview that M$ has a lot to prove. They must prove that their hardware and inclusion of Kinect was worth the price tag BC Activision does not play favorites and M$ needs to bring their A game.

It is in every developers contract with M$ that the xbox copy of all 3rd party game must be comparably equal with no noticeable differences compared to other platforms. Breaking this agreement can result in M$ not allowing the game to be on xbox. And only big studios dare stand up to M$ BC M$ wants the AAA games.

Titanfall is multiplatform. And Respawn already said PS4 is still being considered as one of those platforms. However, it will be out first on 360, X1, and PC (all different platforms)

I sold bf3 BC it was crap and I wasted money on it. More players = more crap. At least COD is fun each time you play it.
And for those who are ignorant enough to think COD doesn't take team work, try to win a game with horrible team mates. I can be the top player with half the kills needed to win and still lose. Bf sucks just as bad if not worse in the working as a team aspect.

Over time all these games stop selling as fast as they once did. However, giving it away for free will boost the sales of DLC for the game. DLC is cheaper to produce and nets more profit, so it's worth losing money giving you the game.
The PS3 sold for $600 in the beginning causing Sony to lose over $300 per console, but worth it BC accessories and games would make up the lost income. The PS3 did make a profit eventually and has outsold 360 globally.
M$ did pull the plug on the DRM but you still are required to have internet and check into live every 24 hours or not play games.
Real gamers from both sides know M$ requires 3rd party devs to make comparable games, and that by making Playstation games noticeably better M$ has the right to not allow it on xbox. You only see big studios challenge this BC M$ still wants the AAA games.
PS3 outsold 360 as of April 2013 and just continues to widen the gap. 360 only dominates here in America.

Let's face , with the exception if Wii, Playstation has dominated for nearly 2 decades. The 360 is in third place this generation, and next gen X1 will only be competing against Wii U for second place. I'll be saying told you so in about 7 years.
