Killzone's problem isn't that it's a bad franchise; it's that it will never live up to the hype Sony gave it. I mean, they dubbed it their "Halo killer". Now, don't get me wrong; I'd personally take Killzone over Halo any day and I even think Killzone is better in every facet, but I think directly comparing it to a franchise as popular as Halo was not in Sony's best interest.

They're putting pretty much everything on the table at once and we see how that went for them. They boasted about all the exclusives they had coming to X1 and none of them were that great. I've been thinking the same thing. 2014 hasn't been great for any platform, but it's been especially lacking in the exclusives department for Sony considering how high their expectations are in terms of delivering arguably the best exclusive games.

Destiny for sure. I'm not personally interested in the game at all and I'm not crazy about FPS games, but even I will confidently say that Destiny has a good chance at overtaking COD.
