Really? I know what you're saying, but this rumor is coming from multiple sources on Neogaf (people approved by the mods there) who've been right before. Even though it's an account, wouldn't that count as not being unnamed?
If you need to know the sources full name then wouldn't most rumors simply not exist?
This is backed by multiple credible sources on NeoGaf though ( http://www.neogaf.com/forum... ). I don't think you can link to Neogaf as a news story. I feel this is a legitimate rumor.

Seems to be coming from multiple credible sources who've been right in the past.
If this is true then I don't even know what MS thinking at this point. How can they be messing up so badly?? I guess the rumor about them being way behind Sony in development is true, so the question is, will they rush the Xbox One out the door or delay it to work out all the kinks.... I really don't see the latter happening.
People will buy it because all they want is Sports and CoD and they know Xbox. That's what MS is counting on. The real core gamers looking for games will move to PS4, unless they're fanboys of course. Outside of that, banking on the casual audience is a pretty big risk imo. They could buy or they could just as likely grow and brain and not fall for MS' trap.
Unless I'm mistaken, have the not spent billions on it? The marketing alone was 500 million, I can't imagine the R&D costs, heck they even bought the original company working on the Kinect technology
Microsoft has poured billions into Kinect, and it's a primary reason the One will be on par, or more expensive than the PS4 even though it's significantly weaker. No one can deny the Kinect isn't technologically awesome, it is; however, even with all the technology it has going for it, it still won't work all that well with core games. It just won't, it'll work great on casual games (especially dancing and fitness) and it'll be awesome for people on PCs who work wi...
Hell yea, and for the 360 too! Awesome.
I don't think they'd put unannounced games on those lists.
Without any advantage for MS, I'm looking forward to seeing by how much the PS4 outsells the Xbox.
@theWB27
If they get more consoles out there, it means people will be buying more accessories and most importantly, more software which is where the money's at.
Kinect 2.0 has a ton of tech in it. That may be driving the Xbox's price up.
Definitely. Drop the PS3 to $199 and it'll fly off the shelves, wait two years, drop it to $149 and it'll continue selling. I'm pretty certain it'll do 100 million+ total, and it'll be 3 for 3 for Sony.
Official numbers put the PS3 ahead of the 360 months ago. It just the VGchartz, notorious for undertracking PS3 and overtracking the Xbox, has finally opened their eyes and decided to follow their own numbers and place the PS3 ahead. Honestly, this means nothing since we know the PS3 has been ahead for months now.
Dude, the 360 is like $99 bucks in certain places. How much cheaper could it get? It's always been $200 bucks cheaper than the PS3 (even more overseas) and the PS3 still caught up. Even with all the negative press the Ps3 got, even with all the hate it attracted, even though it was so expensive and released so much later. It still caught up.
At the PlayStation even demoing Destiny. So between Sony and MS, that's Activision two games.
You sure? http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Isn't Titan Blizzard's game?
No one CONFIRMED they wouldn't be Kinect games and I don't know if you've been living under a rock, but Ryse is a Kinect game.
If Games are what you care about, I'd say PS4 is your best bet. Given the fact that it's stronger, you'll be able to enjoy multiplatform games with much better performance, effects, and graphics. You also get a ton of exclusives games on top of that, as Sony have always done.
