The past is the past man, doesn't matter. Fact is, NA has adopted the 360 as its console of choice and the 360 leads here by millions and millions. In the rest of the world it's the opposite.

Exactly, both sell almost the same every year with the PS3 have a slight lead.
However, if you add the masssive amount of exclusives the Ps3 offers, it's clear who the winner is.
2011 was the Year of the PS3 just like 2010, 2009, and 2008. Tons of great exclusives, all the great multiplats, and great sales. End of story.
As long as they drop the Solid, this game is a disgrace to MGS. Shouldn't have Metal Gear in the title either, but eh, at last it's not as bad as having the full MGS title.
let's just face it, this is not a Metal Gear game, PERIOD. Seriously disappointed, hell MGS4 even looks better than this and it's 4 years old. This is seriously disappointing, to me at least.

But imo, Halo isn't in the same league those games. Yes, it's great in its own way but nowhere near as good. Besides, This gen we've only had 1 MGS game, 1 GOW game, but FOUR Halo games with this one being the fifth. Maybe people are just tired of playing Halo.
No ones ever said that Xbox users only play FPS rather that most of the 360 fanbase are shooter fanatics. Say for example a game like LBP or Heavy Rain, they would never have found success on the 360 because the 360 cr4owd largely ignores games that aren't widely viewed as popular and the "it" thing to get. Skyrim's success on the 360 was expected because:
1. Its a WESTERN RPG
2. It is advertised mostly in First person mode
3. there's a L...
Yet MW3 gets a 9 on its 8th iteration. Yea, not buying it and why'd they take points off for adding a new feature? Seriously, I get that it might not be perfect, but at least they're adding more variety unlike CoD which just a skin change.
All I know is I'm not buying any future MS products until
1. No massive failure rates
2. I see that there's a good amount of real exclusives
3. I see MS focusing on core gamers just as much as casuals
If they can't do those 3 things, at least for me, I'll be skipping out.
This comparison is made by Kotaku, you know the guys who purposely slowed down a GT video and then claimed it was proof of slow loading times. They are an absolute joke imo, far from professional.
What is there to spin? They may not be leading in NA, but they are worldwide so I'm sure they're more than happy. And remember, consoles are more expensive in certain overseas territories, much more expensive than in NA.
Yep, the 360 is overwhelmingly NA's choice this gen with a 11 million+ lead over the PS3. Yes, we all know the PS3 leads in Europe and Japan as well as almost everywhere else in the world, but that doesn't take away from the 360's great success in NA.
