I believe we will have a much shorter console generation than the previous. I said it when these machines arrived in 2013, looking slightly underpowered compared to what had gone before.
It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we have an entirely new generation of machines sometime around the end of 2018, which would make the current generation 5 years old.
In order to have consoles that might be capable of delivering the current standard of visuals i...
How would a console that isn't as powerful as PS4 which would be 3 years old this year be a monster? Wii U was basically a train wreck from day one for struggling to clearly outpace ancient rival hardware.
Nintendo have screwed up so much the last few years it's hard to believe they would have much impact on the home console market at all these days.
Tight world economic circumstances forced tight console hardware design budgets. When these machines started firming up on the drawing board, let's say 2 years before they launched, the world was gripped solidly in a huge economic crisis. Cost was paramount.
Not surprising these consoles had the most conservative hardware of the time since the 8 bit era.
Which is always why I felt their lifespan would be more curtailed than the previous generation.
PS4's faster GPU and memory is faster shocker....
It's one thing making a game with 720p geometry in 2016 on 8th gen consoles, and quite another making it 720P with a bunch of frame dropping and screen tearing.
Remedy really need a technical overhaul inside their team. 720p might be acceptable if the game was a rock steady 60FPS, or a clear cut 30 and locked v sync at all times, but the poor performance when the going gets rough just takes the biscuit.
Alan Wake looked VASTLY better on a PC when you coul...
They simply cannot include every car ever. So they really try their hardest to mix up the packs to include something for everyone.
As such, most packs will probably only ever have a few cars you might like in them. Same for me. Then maybe somebody else loves the cars you don't like.
I don't want the new NSX. I don't want the Camaro. I want the new Focus RS. I want historic racing cars.
I couldn't give a toss about the Opel GT ...
One of the best packs the game has had. If just for the 1988 Group C monster that is the Jaguar XJR 9.
The car that ended Porsche's domination of the race. It won the World Sportscar Championship that year too. It's a legend.
Probably not. http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-... is the link you need to look at to realise this is not a massive deal. Even on DX12 the Fury X/FX-8370 combo gets ass whomped by DX11 mode with the Intel CPU.
The gains are big if you are using an AMD CPU/platform because they are simply not that great gaming CPUs and DX12 gives them a he...
He's not a football player any more. I already stated this. What other reason do you need?
Shaun! Shauuuuuuun! Shaun! Shaun! Shauuuuuuun!
Dat Heavy Rain glitch LOL
Eh? He's a nasty little sex offender. But if that isn't justification enough for you, he's not even a professional footballer any more, he almost certainly never will be again either. He's going to jail for some time, minimum of several years and when he gets out, nobody will employ him as one. He's finished.
EA regularly remove players that do not have clubs.

AMD FX 6300
GTX 650 TI
8GB Ram
FX6300 doesn't OC that great.
So the PC is weaksauce. It's hugely impressive considering the specs are hardly going to melt your face off in 2016 terms, I think that was the point of the video to show it runs great on a modest machine.
This is 3+ year old PC hardware we're talking about, and it wasn't exactly top end back then either lol
I'm not sure what your point is
Par for the course on large world games these days
As a visual medium, graphics in games matter. Just how much they matter should be taken on a case by case basis.
They don't, this doesn't anyway. But not to worry, it'll probably be down to £30 after a few weeks.
Be aware the PS4 version displays considerable framerate drops in the same areas the PC version does in this beta.
http://www.eurogamer.net/ar...
Digital foundry noted in the area with high number of NPCs, PS4 dropped as low as 22FPS and was mostly below 30FPS. This means the beta is highly variable with it's uncapped framerate on PS4. No ...
Expect a new driver revision for this game a short while before launch.
Then DX12 to improve the highest CPU load areas typically those seen which have the most performance dips (it's not available in the beta) and the day one version to have a few more optimisations/fixes to improve performance further.
In other words, at least wait until the game is out before pulling the alarm....the PC version will still likely be the best version!
It could be a while yeah lol but I am sure when he is ready to reveal his project it will be exciting
Ha the animation on that is just brilliant. Batman eat your heart out.
