Forza doesn't have a lack of sales, it has less sales, but it still sells well. You are highly confused Apocalypse Shadow. The console platform it is on has a much smaller user base with different typical gaming interests. It's likely to sell less, like putting GT on a Nintendo platform. Think it would sell extremely well? It probably wouldn't. That's a weak sauce argument you are relying on.
I ignored the FIA claim because it is meaningless to the vast majo...
Sales do not = quality. Popularity does not = superiority. It never has.
Precision of simulation does not = a better GAME. This is a video game after all, being slightly more realistic does not necessarily make anything a better game or more fun or more enjoyable to play.
Would it be fun if your shooter sim meant as soon as you died *ULTRA REALISM* the game was over permanently and you had to go and buy a new copy to start over? No.
For...
Forza has been the better series for a long time now, if only by default since Gran Turismo is a weird mess of fragmented and sparse installments.
I was there when GT arrived, I was the biggest GT fan in this known universe playing every single game to death, the concepts and the prologues even, but Forza has been categorically better post GT5.
I absolutely hate this idea of GT Sport being a DLC driven title without a serious career mode, coming inconsist...
There is always more you can do, but now a small improvement often requires a large performance increase to achieve.
Not to mention time and money. To make something a little bit better you have to throw thousands of man hours and potentially millions of dollars at it. It's gradual refinement at this stage.
I think we are reaching the point where I am quite satisfied with most game graphics displayed on a flat panel. The real question is the pinnacle ...
PS4 + PC for the win, you don't really need an Xbox then for anything upcoming. I have all three and the Xbox sits there and does absolutely nothing at all.
PC is better to invest in over Xbox because it has free online for these titles and the typical online gaming community is of a more mature older age and more pleasurable to be involved in.
It has much cheaper games and much wider sales. It has a much larger catalogue of games, it has much more de...
This could be genius. Think of all the scenarios you could create if you were inclined.
What about one where you go miles out of your way to deliver somebody's parcel then they treat you like shit and want it taken to a different address. So the second half of the mission is to smash the crap out of the parcel as much as possible in the time limit as you deliver it before they arrive and realise :p lol
No they shouldn't. Windows 10 works very well. Anyone that thinks it breaks down all the time or is resource heavy that slows your games down lots doesn't know what they are talking about.
Part of the attraction of PC is that it is has a raft of code that includes legacy platform interoperability. Therefore it is necessarily complex to run older software and maintain that backwards compatibility. Why would they strip everything out just because you can't be both...
Original Elite controller. It's the best controller. Period. It's brilliant to use. Fantastic bit of kit.
It's also the worst controller. It costs a bunch, it WILL break and Microsoft will just tell you to buy a new one as they won't/can't fix it.
Let's hope the updated Elite Controller is better built than the original. The materials were shoddy. It was less reliable than a standard controller but three times the price. Grips fell...
"1.2 vs 1.8 tlfops doesnt equate to 50% more power"
1.8 IS exactly 50 percent more than 1.2! I don't know where you learnt maths.....
Although the original Xbox One is 1.28 and PS4 is 1.84 which is a 44 percent gap..
If AMD's Vega shrink to 7nm goes well at the end of 2018 then we should get an idea of what kind of performance you can expect in next consoles. It's not a consumer GPU but gives us an idea of what AMD can do with the 7nm process.
As it happens a couple days ago they demonstrated a 7nm Vega and it showed something like double the transistor density of the current 14nm process used in X1X. This is not that great, because estimates were for a potential 2.8x increase i...
Nvidia won't be used in these next gen machines, they will almost certainly be all AMD designs. So your comparisons are flawed immediately.
Nvidia GPU floating point performance does not directly compare with AMD's because they are completely different architectures. Floating point is really just a measure of compute, not rendering (games) performance. So you don't use it to compare AMD cards to Nvidia ones in games performance.
For example an...
It will just depend on how they are configured. Xbox One and PS4 differed in memory type and GPU size because Microsoft had this vision of an all in one entertainment box whereas Sony went for a gaming focused machine. PS4 Pro and X1X differed because Microsoft waited a year longer so they could build a bigger chip with more Radeon CUs and add more memory. X1X is merely a PS4 Pro with a bit more of everything and the cost reflects that. But basically their core technology is the same thing. ...
You do realise that only a million or so people own an Xbox One X but waaaaaaay more than a million people own a PC as capable or more capable than Xbox One X? Right? Riiiiiiight?
Therefore your post and argument is null, void, irrelevant and dimwitted.
PC has the best version.
It'll have it for millions more on launch, and millions more and more than that in a year as more people buy even more advanced new PC hardware far beyond th...
It isn't 1:1. But it's closer to 1:1 than at any point in the past because console APIs and hardware are extremely similar and closer to a modern PC than it ever was before. For example Xbox One X's GPU is very similar to an RX580, and it really doesn't outperform said RX580 in a PC. It often loses especially if you want 60FPS mainly because in a PC that GPU is paired with a vastly superior CPU. Any 2-3 year old mid range CPU is miles faster.
I would say nex...
It hasn't been required for any previous Microsoft games on the current Windows platform. No gold needed for PC gamers. Been playing Horizon 3, Forza 7, Sea of Thieves, Gears etc etc online on PC for years now and I'm not paying for it. Console gamers are subsidising the free PC servers when they buy their gold subs.
Thanks for that :)
Cost is one thing, value is another. Why bother with an Xbox at all if you can build a PC to play all those PC games AND all the Xbox ones?
PC is clearly better value in the long term even if it costs you more to buy initially. Cheaper games, wider choice, free online.
Warming up my PC now for this....free online as usual. It should be another quality entry in the series.
I would bet that most PS3 games will run playable and smooth within 18 months. If the project has momentum and garners interest from more programmers it will get refined and completed.
I so badly want MGS4 in high resolution! That game only ran 1024 x 768 natively on PS3 then stretched and scaled (yes really, google it yourself) with a really shonky ~20FPS frame rate often times. I would be happy with just native 1080p and 50+ FPS. It would be marvellous to behold.
Lol I think that you're looking at it with tunnel vision, failing to realise that if an emulator can get to the point where it can run demanding PS3 games well, it'll also reach maturity where it can run the majority of PS3's games very well.
You know, the 95 percent of PS3 games that don't work natively on PS4 and most likely won't with PS5 either? Fancy 4K 60FPS Metal Gear Solid 4? I know I do. It's likely only ever gonna happen this way.
...
Actually because the RX480 didn't beat the GTX1060, AMD refreshed it to the RX580 with higher clocks.
They are very close, depending on games tested either can come out on top. Overall, it's so close it doesn't matter. Generally the Nvidia card overclocks better so it can even come down to what versions are tested and what core speeds they run at.
