This is game news as it affects the world's active stereotyping of gamers. You should know by now we're all violent miscreants with no regard for human life, but maybe those of us who aren't sociopathic child abusers should stand up and stop being apathetic. This man who beat this little girl to death may be a gamer, but he's a violent psycho first, and unfortunately mass media doesn't get paid enough to distinguish that fact. They just glaze over this awful abuse and label it as if gaming is...

no, ps3 owners will never have to endure a 10gb install for a 360 port because 360 games WILL NEVER BE BIGGER THAN 10gb!!! unless we are allowed to install the entire game on our hdd and scrap the disc, which will not happen for years and years

EDIT: i challenge whoever put the disagree to explain themself or show me a 360 game thats more than 10gb

is about the smartest thing Ubisoft could do. putting a developing house on an exclusive game with this amount of budget will put to rest all the troubles that have popped up with ps3 development. it gives them a chance to do in depth experimentation with the SPUs and Cell.

that is sad. just really pathetic. don't you hackers have better things to do like get mame working on ps3?

Did anyone notice the part where it said "captured replays"!?! I think thats the real news, as its a feature i haven't heard confirmed yet, and something i've been wondering/hoping for.

Why does the author even play games? It seems like he hates any and every thing that has been created since pong. If he seriously hates innovation that much he should sell his games and go pick up a book. People like this confuse the hell out of me

agreed. if you have to insult consumer electronics in the past tense aren't you better off just keeping your mouth shut? still, its kinda amusing watching them try soooo hard to squeeze the last drops of negativity they can out of the PS3's bumpy start. some people just love to hate :D

a quick google search will give you the name Christine Smith. I'm not sure how official her endorsement from the party is, but i read up on her a couple weeks ago, and she seems pretty intelligent, and sincere.

one day i hope people will tire of being misled by campaigning pillow talk, and this infernal struggle between an ass and an elephant They'll begin to seek out accountable, effective leaders on their own (ideally people should be able to govern themselves, and hold themselves accountable for their own actions, and the government would fade into a more localized association, reserved for communtity purchases such as roads, affordable healthcare and energy). Until more people refuse to spit on ...

i think that pandering only serves to build false hopes, and trust in someone. Too many times has an elected official spouted beautiful campaign promises only to completely turn their back on them, and the nation of people that voted them in. Are you not tired of being lied to just so a sleazy, detatched politician, who truely could not care less about you, can con your vote out of you?

the outdated inneffective two-party american political system that forces the politicians with substance who platform for a true revolution in this country like Ron Paul to pidgeonhole themselves into one of two classes, or slide into obscurity. Forcing a candidate to declare loyalty to a party that is not his own creation presses the people to prejudge him as something he is not. American's, generally, are to lazy to research a candidate on their own, and too scared to "throw their vote...

dude, a little out of line. people are entitled their own opinions and to disagree, but your obvious trolling is disgusting. You despise this man for not understanding games, yet you tell him to "go get gassed" and completely justify his opinion. This man is concerned that a traumatic life altering event that effected millions of innocent people will be portrayed in an immature manner and presented to an audience that will think its just fun an games. With your comments, and the tho...

Microsoft paid R* almost as much as this game's entire budget (speculation; i don't know the budget for GTA4, but $50mill seems to be a good number for a current AAA title's budget) to get it out of Sony's hands. Sony's not stupid, but R*'s too smart to let that money get away from them. they basically got a free multi-platform game developed out of MS. its all profit for R* now.

Fanboys ARE your gaming site. rabidly refreshing the same page over and over just to be the first to see a new article or post. Who else can encite our passion for gaming with blind trollish commentary, and baseless facts/statistics/rumors. Without these Fanboys your gaming site would be a shadow of itself.
We should raise a glass to these fine folks, and toast their nimble typing fingers, and short tempers/attention spans

the Champions online graphical style would fit this perfectly. the problem with 2d is obviously that its massively time consuming to hand draw each frame of animation for everything in the game(i do end up appreciating it more though).

i agree that they're probably going to have a huge showing at E3, but i think you underestimated their presence at GDC. Microsoft used GDC as yet another platform to reach consumers (Cliffy B chainsawing his way onto the stage to announce Gears2), where Sony used it as it was meant to be used - as a platform to reach developers. They showed off numerous new Home features, announced the free Phyre engine, and touted the PSN's functionality. Maybe its not too amazing for consumers, but it was a...
